Narrator POV

„Heyy bestie... it's been days and I'm starting to grow impatient.. I don't know if you can hear me but I'll just try to ramble some things off."
Beth spoke up as she walked through the door to visit Nora again.

„Okay. So we played the game again.. and we won may I add. Although it's not the same without you... we all miss you and need you. The girls that did you dirty got kicked out of their team because everyone saw that this was pure sabotage. Coach thinks that there is even more behind it but I guess you'll talk to her as soon as your back.
You aren't really missing any lectures. The stuff we talk about is weeks old by now and you know it all.

„Anyway. We both know they are shit so that's fine I guess. They don't deserve you and you deserve better. Little side note though. Coach and Olsen took good care of you when you where knocked out.
I don't know if you heard anything while you where out or not. Olsen ran like a maniac towards you and so did coach. They where yelling and trying to help you which is really good don't get me wrong. But I know exactly why they where soooo
Desperate to help you out. Because you had them in your beeeeddd...." she mocked Nora at the end and giggled a bit about it until she realized that she doesn't get any reaction from you.

„Wow what a bummer. I wish you'd be able to laugh about what I say because that's what we do.
Say dumb shit and laugh about it. I miss you."
She added and got up.

„I'll be right back I'm just gonna go get something to drink." she told Nora even though she knows that she can't answer.

The door opened again but there wasn't Beth walking through it was Lizzie. She didn't really get the time to be with Nora alone.
It has been days and she is feeling like shit because of a lot of things and she just wants Nora to be okay again.

„Hey You." Lizzie spoke up as she stroked Nora's hand.

„It's me Liz. Seeing you like this Nora makes my heart ache but not in a good way. I gotta be honest with you. You where stuck in my mind ever since y'know. Ever since we had sex. I know this might sound dumb. But it was something before We had sex. There is just something about you that I can't explain and It's killing me that it's taking you so long to wake up. I know you probably don't even hear me but I just had to get if of my chest. Even if I don't say it again to you I said at least once. I can't Ruine my life or yours by... i don't know.
I just can't let this happen. I'm sorry."

„Professor Olsen? What are you doing here?"
Lizzie looked up and yanked her hand away from Nora not wanting to looks suspicious.
Beth doesn't know that she had something with Nora. Well that's what Lizzie thinks.

„Beth...Eh I was just checking in on her... I haven't really seen her."

„Coach told me you've been here once. Is there something I should know?" she asked but she already knows the answer. She just wants to test if Lizzie would be honest enough...which wasn't the case.

„It's just that I worry. I tried to help as much as i can when it happened and I feel like I haven't done enough."

„That's not true professor." Beth breathed out as she sat down in the other side of the bed.

„You did everything you could and the rest was laying in the doctors hands. She will be back I know it."

„I hope so."

„I can tell that Nora left a mark on you prof."
Lizzie raised a brow abruptly. Confusion Filled her body and she has no clue why Beth just said that.

„Excuse me? What makes you think that?"
She asked and leaned back into the chair she was sitting in.

„I know what happened." she replied boldly after taking a sip of her drink.

„And what did happen?" she fired back again.
Deep down she knows what Beth was talking about but she wanted to hear it from her first instead of saying it.

„You don't want me to get into details. Just a quick reminder. Best friends tell each other everything."
She answered and this makes Lizzie think of what she hasn't told Scar. That her one night stand was with Nora.

„Yeah I figured..." Lizzie whispered as she rubbed her eyes frustrated. She doesn't know how to feel.
Is she angry because of Nora sharing such sensitive Informations? Or is it good that she did it?

„Don't worry." Lizzie looked up to Beth.

„I won't tell a soul. This is safe with me. I've known
Nora for so long I would never think of harming her in any way. She's been through enough.
She doesn't deserve more headaches."

„So Your calling me a headache?" Lizzie question confused while tilting her head.

„What? No! I mean a headache In like other people finding out. This will ruin the life of the both
of you."

„Your Right. This shouldn't have happened."

„No. Don't twist my words. I didn't say that it shouldn't have happened. In fact I'm glad it happened. Ever since Victor she hasn't been the same and ever since she got closer to you it changed her. She's becoming the old Nora I used to know."

At this point Lizzie really is Toren between building up something with Nora or leaving it behind.
Both have been seemingly good to each other and effected them in positive ways the previous partner hasn't done.

„I highly doubt that I had in impact on her."
Lizzie replied and Beth chuckled.

„You clearly have no idea. Victor was toxic. Almost every partner she had was toxic. But he was the most toxic one out of all. He made her feel worthless and he made her feel like shit as if everything that went wrong it was her fault.
She went silent at some point. She stopped arguing with him and that showed. She used to be so dynamic and passionate."

„Well. Good that she left him. This cheating ass doesn't deserve her. She will find someone who will treat her better."

„She will. It's good that she can find her a way back to her old self again." Beth answered and her phone started to ring.

„Sorry. I really need to take this. I'll be back in a moment." she wiggled with her phone and walked off leaving Nora with Lizzie.

„God this is so hard. I have no idea what to do."
Lizzie huffed out as she rubbed her eyes leaning deeper into the chair.

The beeping machines started to change sounds and this made her almost jump up.

„Nora?" Lizzie whispered as she held her shoulders rubbing them softly.

I just watched Thor love and thunder today and I'm so happy about it😫😭 it was great!!! I cried I laughed a lot and that was what I always expect from a Thor movie. Are y'all watching it too or have you already?
