Adyan sighed and clear his throat then started to talk knowing the was no escape route with Afdal
"well she's in her first year in the same school as Laila, she's really pretty there's no beauty like hers and very unique I really really like her a lot" he said dreamily Afdal let out a chuckle cause Adyan sounded like a teenage who had a huge crush on some girl to him.
"so have you spoken to her yet does she like you too or you are just been delusional and a one side lover boy" he asked
"that's the problem man I've tried talking to her a couple of times but I'm scared of rejection what if she doesn't like me back" he said with worry laced in his voice
"don't worry buddy I know she'll like you no girl can reject that hunk of a friend I have there don't let it get to your head though" Afdal said playfully yet reassuringly
"thanks dude" he said calmly "but you haven't told me what her name is yet" Afdal said with disappointment
"oh sorry man I got a little carried away I heard from her friends they call her humaira" he said making the "Humaira" sound like an achievement
"ohhh cool I like the name humaira.., aishatu humaira cheer up and also man up I know she'd like you go for it I trust you"
Adyan thanked him and they continued their chit chat and at the end he made up his mind to man up and tell the girl how he feels.
FLASHBACK ; Adyan was driving into kaduna state university for the first time cause he was force by his mom to go give Laila money to finish up her payment in school who doesn't go about without an ATM card if not his sweet sweet sister (Note the sarcasm)
