One of your favourite places on Asgard was the lakes. Quite often you'd find yourself there, either sitting on the beach or swimming in the lake.

Today had been a long day and you wanted to get away from everything and everyone. So, when you swam out to the middle of the lake you lay back before letting yourself sink. You created an air bubble around you as your slowly sank to the bottom of the lake.

As you sank you watched all the fish and other mystical beasts swim around you. As a child you would squeal in excitement whenever your father brought you to the lake. Always excited to see all the interesting creatures, listening to his stories of how he fought the biggest and baddest beasts.

You weren't exactly sure how long you'd been there. Lying at the bottom of the lake. You knew it was slowly becoming the evening as the shades of blue above you turned yellow and orange. You considered heading back up to the surface, your mother would probably be worrying about you now, maybe your brother too. But you desperately wanted just another 5 minutes.

You didn't get that though as you noticed a familiar looking object floating down. Mjölnir landing in beside you. With a deep sigh you grabbed hold of the handle, waiting for it to be recalled. Soon enough you were rising through the water before bursting above the surface, back towards to beach.

Back on solid ground you turned to see your brother, his face hard, a stormy expression on his face. For a moment you worried he was angry with you, and that you were about to get the big brother lecture. His words however where the furthest from what you were expecting.

"Loki is alive" he states a frown on his face.

"What? I thought he was-" you mutter not truly believing it.

You had watched him die, falling off the bridge into space. You mourned his death, he was your brother afterall. You didn't care that he was adopted, when you found out you were secretly relieved. Knowing you had a brother who felt the same as you, out of place.

You weren't truly an Asgardian. Your father was Odin yes, but your mother, your birth mother was human. You technically were a demigod, you had powers over the elements, you didn't age as quickly as other humans but not nowhere near as slow as your brothers.

You birth mother died when you were a baby, so your father took you to Asgard to raise you. Frigga while she was not related to you, raised you as if you were her own. You loved growing up on Asgard but you did feel like you never truly belonged. You longed to visit earth, the place you called home for the first year of your life.

"I don't know how, but Heimdall as seen him. He's on Midgard, he's playing a dangerous game and we need to stop him" Thor explains walking closer to you.

"We?" You question making a small smile appeared on his lips.

"Yes I know you were disappointed you didn't get to go last time, but I want to take you this time" Thor explains.

"And mother and father are okay with this?" You question not really believing you could go.

"Yes, father was the one who suggested it, now come on we must go" he says holding out his arm.

"Thor I don't need a lift remember" you smirk making him chuckle.

"Race you to the palace?" He smirks.

"You're on Odinson" you say quickly willing the winds to move around you, taking off and flying towards the palace.

While you had a head start, you soon saw Thor flying past you at speeds you could only dream of.
