Chapter 2: Galaga and Flying Monkeys

"Beat you once again" Thor says victoriously as you land on the roof of the jet beside him.

"Let's drop it and focus on getting our brother" you retort standing up.

The back of the jet opens up allowing you and Thor to jump down. As you do, you quickly spot Loki sat to the side. Two men stood at the front of the jet, one wearing red white and blue stripes, the other wearing a red and gold metal suit.

The two of you advance towards Loki. The man in the metal suit goes to stop Thor, but gets hit with the hammer instead. When the man in stripes steps forward you shoot a blast of ice towards him. He deflects it with his shield but was distracted enough for you and Thor to grab Loki and fly out of the jet with him.

The three of you land on a small mountain, a large forest down below. Thor throwing Loki down on the ground, who groans at the impact, before chuckling slightly.

"Where is the tesseract?" Thor questions glaring down at Loki.

"I've missed you too big brother, little sister" Loki say chuckling still.

"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor growls stepping closer to Loki.

"You should thank me, especially you dear sister" Loki says sitting up slightly smirking over at you.

"With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here to your precious home planet which you have been so desperate to visit" Loki smirks.

You feel anger bubbling up inside you, you always spoke to Loki about your desire to visit where you came from. Understand more about the other half of your life. Thor growls dropping his hammer with a heavy thud, grabbing Loki and pulling him up.

"We thought you were dead" he says his voice wavering slightly.

"Did you mourn?" Loki asks casually.

"We all did, our father-" you tell him before he interrupts.

"Your father" Loki says slowly.

Thor shakes his head pushing Loki slightly as he stepped back.

"He did tell you both my true parentage, did he not?" Loki asks walking away.

"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together, do you remember none of that?" Thor demands following after Loki.

"I remember a shadow in the shade of your greatness, I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I, who was and should be king!" Loki growls.

"So you take the world I love, my home as a recompense?" You ask shaking your head at him.

"You don't know this world sister, how can love a world you've never visited" Loki retorts.

"The earth is under my protection Loki" Thor intervenes.

Loki laughs "and you're doing a marvellous job with that the humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly fret. I mean to rule them as why should I not?"

"You think yourself above them?" Thor asks, neither of you missing the insinuation he made about your home planet.

"Well yes" Loki say easily.

"Then you miss the truth of ruling brother, a throne would suit you ill" Thor tells him.

Loki growls pushing past the two of you.

"I've seen worlds, you've never know about! I have grown in my exile. I have seen the true power of the Tesseract and when I wield it-" Loki exclaims.

"Who showed you this power?" You ask as you and Thor walk over to him.
