Warnings: It's their honeymoon so A LOT OF SMUT!!! 18+ ONLY! MINORS DNI!

The one element of wedding planning that caused the most stress wasn't actually to do with the wedding. It was where to go on your honeymoon.

Both you and Steve had agreed on somewhere in Europe. You had never really been except for the occasional mission, and the last time Steve was there for an extended period of time was the war. The only problem was that neither of you could decide on where to go.

You both were close to giving up and just going somewhere hot and laze on a beach. However, Nat stepped in to save the day, suggesting that instead of trying to pick one place to go, you went on a tour of Europe.

So here you were walking the streets of Dublin, the first city on your month-long Honeymoon. Over the next month, you and Steve were visiting 10 different cities. Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Zurich, Venice, and Rome, before your last stop in Naples.

"I wonder how different this place is from when my ma lived here" Steve wondered out loud as you walked around the city.

"Did you not come here during the war?" You ask him.

"No Ireland remained neutral in the war, so there was no reason to be here I've always wanted to visit though see where my ma grew up, I remember she used to sing this Gaelic lullaby when I was little" Steve says a reminiscent smile on his face.

He and his mother didn't have a lot but it never really bothered Steve. His ma would always make sure he had whatever he needed. Spent days by his bedside whenever he was ill, cleaning him up whenever he got into fights.

"Do you remember any of it?" You ask him as you walk through the campus of trinity college.

"Um a little it went like," Steve said stopping, looking up in thought

"A leanbh mo chléibh go n-eirí do chodhladh leat Séan is sonas gach oíche do chóir Tá mise le do thaobh ag guídhe ort na mbeannacht Seothín a leanbh is codail go foill" Steve hummed smile on his face.

"That sounds so beautiful, what does it mean?" You ask smiling up at him.

"It translates to: Child of my heart, sleep calmly And well all night and be happy I'm by your side praying for blessings on you, Hush-a-bye, baby and sleep for now." Steve translates "it's about fairies that would take children away if they didn't sleep"

"That's so sweet, your mother sounds amazing," you tell him.

Steve smiles down at you wrapping his arm around your shoulders and pulling you into his side, kissing the top of your head. Before the both of you continue to walk around.

"She was, she'd really love you, mostly because you keep me in line," he says making you laugh.

"I try to, you still do stupid shit, like jumping from planes without parachutes," you say knowingly.

Steve rolls his eyes at you playfully "I've only done that a few times" he reasons.

"A few is the understatement of the year" you laugh shaking your head at him.

"Okay fine, but I don't do it that often anymore, which is my point you reign me in" he laughs.

"You're just scared to get on my wrong side" you chuckle.

"Yes I am, now c'mon let's head to the Guinness brewery and have some beers" Steve laughs leading you towards the Guinness brewery.

The two of you walked around the brewery learning about how they made Guinness and it's origin. There was one area fully dedicated to the promotion of the beer throughout its history. Including a talking oyster. One poster caught your eye though, you tapped on Steve's shoulder grabbing his attention and pointing over to the poster in question.
