One of the things that had happened since the battle of New York was that there was a lot of merchandise based on the Avengers. You'd seen cereal boxes, t-shirts, dolls.
So far you hadn't seen many dolls that actually looked like any of the avengers. It had secretly become a game where if you guys saw a particular bad one you'd send a photo to the others. It was a good excuse to keep in touch.
You and Steve were doing grocery shopping together when you walked down one aisle to find a whole section dedicated to the avengers.
"Oh wow" you mutter the both of you stopping dead in your tracks.
"That is a lot of stuff" Steve says glancing around before pulling his cap down a little further.
"Hey this is kinda cool" you say grabbing a circular lunchbox that had Steve's shield on one side and Tony's arc reactor on the other.
"Yeah guess so, this doll on the other hand is not, I don't scowl like that" Steve says picking up one of the action figures, a very similar scowl on his face
"You're pulling that face right now" you laugh pointing at him.
He instantly schools his expression shaking his head "was not" he argues.
"Were too, now come on before we get spotted" you laugh.
Steve puts the action figure back grumbling to himself before the two of you move away.
"You know I mentioned about Morita's grandson is a principal?" Steve asks as you two continue shopping.
"Yeah" you say recalling the time you spent in London.
"Well I got in contact with him, spoke about his grandad. He was killed in battle so he never got to meet him so I was able to tell him stories about his Morita" Steve tells as he grabs something from the shelf and putting it in his cart.
"Oh nice, I bet he really appreciated that" you smile, Steve nodding his head slightly.
"Yeah he then told me about this videos they do for the school to teach them about good hygiene all that, he said he usually get some random actor but he asked if I'd like to do it" Steve explains shrugging his shoulders slightly.
"Oh really? Did you agree to it?" You ask.
"Yeah, I'm filming some of them tomorrow, but I was wondering if you'd come with me?" He asks turning to face you.
"Really?" You ask surprised.
"Yeah, I never really enjoyed it when I had to sell war bonds, so I thought maybe having some company there might make it easier" Steve explains dropping his head suddenly very interested in his shoes.
"Yeah sure, sounds fun and I promise not to tease you too much" you smirk nudging him slightly making him laugh.

The next day you and Steve were walking into a small studio. When the two of you walked in the entire room fell silent, everyone looked at the two of you awestruck.
"Oh wow, Hi I wasn't expecting two avengers today" the director says walking over and shaking both Steve's and your hand.
"Apologies for tagging along, I hope I won't get in the way" you apologise but the director waves you off.
"Oh no it's no problem at all, we're happy to have you" He smiles.
"Where do you want me?" Steve asks clearing his throat quietly.
"Yes, if you just change into your suit then we'll get started" the director smiles pointing over to a changing room.
"Okay, I'll be right back" Steve agrees before heading off to change.
Once he was gone the director started asking you different questions about the Avengers and Thor. You couldn't help but chuckle at his excitement, answering every question the best you could.
A few minutes later Steve reappear now full suited up. The director directed him over to the green screen before finding you a seat where you could watch.
"Okay so Sally here will be holding up cue cards, all you gotta do is look straight into the camera and read the cue cards" the director explained.
Steve nodded his head and he adjusted his helmet "alright just like the USO tours" he says before moving to his mark.
As you watched you couldn't help but chuckle. You actually had to try really hard to laugh too loudly. You watched as Steve filmed several videos about getting detention, puberty, and eating healthy, all of them incredibly cringeworthy.
You could tell that he was struggling to get through some of them with a straight face. He was currently filming one about eating a hot lunch. He had just finished he sentence when his eyes met yours. Instantly the both of you laughed out loud. Steve apologised for laughing before composing himself, sending a playful glare your way.
"Okay last one we need to do is the gym challenge one" the director says.
"For this one if you could demonstrate each station they need to do that would be great" director explains.
Steve looks over at you and you could see the mischievous look in his eyes. You raise a brow at him wondering what on earth he could be thinking.
"You know what could be a good idea, if we got Y/N to demonstrate them as I explain them?" Steve suggests smirking over at you.
The director turns to you a smile on his face "would you?" He asks excitedly.
You glare over Steve before returning your attention back to the direction shrugging your shoulders slightly.
"Oh I don't know, I haven't got my suit" you say.
"What are you talking about? You can make it appear whenever you want" Steve laughs pointing out your lie.
You force a smile standing up from your chair making you Asgardian armour appear. Agreeing to their demands and walking over to join Steve. You jab him in the ribs as you pass him making him laugh.
"You'll pay for this" you warn him quietly, but he just smirks down at you.
The director shouts action and Steve begins to read off the cue card again, introducing the challenge.
"Our first station is sit ups, my friend Y/N will demonstrate the best practice" Steve says gesturing over to you.
You get down on the floor, beginning to do sit ups while Steve explains how to do sit ups properly. You repeat this with all the different stations. Eventually the director called cut and that it was a wrap.
"Thank you both for doing this, the kids are gonna love it!" The director smiles shaking both your hands again.
"No problem happy to help, it was fun" Steve says smirking down at you.
Once he was changed out of his suit the two of you say goodbye and head out. Once out of earshot you elbowed Steve in ribs glaring up at him slightly.
"I could kill you for doing that" you tell him, unable to keep your laughter at bay.
Steve laughs throwing his head back and clutching his chest "payback for all times you were laughing at me" Steve laughs.
You shake your head at him "you're lucky that you're my best friend otherwise you'd be so dead right now" you chuckle pushing him slightly.
Steve just laughs wrapping his arm around your shoulder pulling you back towards him "I'm grateful" he smiles.
