Capitulum 6

Leto growled loudly, making Conan turn to face her. She was fighting for complete control and turned towards Conan. A smirk crept on his face, Conan lunged forward, his canines ready to bite down. I stepped aside, tripping him as he stumbled into the crowd.

'Lupus non timet canem latrantem.' Leto growled, as she took control. A wolf is not afraid of a barking dog.

Conan growled as a unknown power stopped him from taking a step closer, my eyes followed as the crowd made room for Naomi and the nine wolves. The pack of wolves screamed power, and I instantly knew they were here for Dani. They all had a confident stance and their body muscular. I heard a low growl, causing me to look away from the group and noticed the tense state Rodney and Conan were in.

Conan coughed, 'Well well.. if it isn't the little beta. I was wondering when you all would show up. I'm just surprised your Alpha isn't with you all,' Some warriors laughed. 'Maybe she was scared.. or maybe she didn't need her Delta. Figured she would be dead by now.. and you all went behind her back.'

A wolfish smirk was her only answer, she looked around the crowd as her gaze landed on Dani. Her eyes softened a little, she took a deep breath and shifted back to her human form. She was fully clothed. A small, muscular woman stood in front of us. Her long brown hair and hazel eyes. 'Hello Conan, I'm here on behalf of our Alpha. Requesting our dear Delta back,' Her eyes shifted to me. 'And her mate.'

Conan growled, 'I won't let that happen. I'd like to see your Alpha.'

The woman chuckled. 'Don't worry sir, we haven't forgotten what you have done. Our Alpha is safe and sound plotting her revenge.'

Conan growled, 'You can release the little Delta, but you won't get her mate. We both know the reason why.'

The two guards dropped Dani on the floor. The woman growled, 'Maya help out Dani.' The two woman from the crowd instantly rushed to her side, helping her hope as they brought her to the safety of the wolves behind the woman.

'You know the rules Conan,' Naomi spoke. 'You and your brothers made the rules. Would be a shame to disobey your older brothers.'

Conan eyed Naomi carefully. 'The rules are for her to claim her mate by herself.'

'Or on her behalf,' Naomi spoke softly, although her voice sounded sweet. There was something else, something that meant to not mess with an angry witch. 'Besides, I am assigned to this pack to make sure of its safety. This is it.'

She motioned for me to step forward and I hesitantly did. The Beta didn't give me a single look as I walked past her towards the wolves. None of them looked at me, Alora rushed towards me and hugged me tight. 'Promise me Azz, promise me you'll do anything to stay safe.'

'I promise. I will come back for you Alora.'

Naomi and Alora watched me, 'You'll do amazing.'

The woman from before motioned for me to follow her to the tree line. As the other three wolves walked backwards, guarding our backs. 'I will come for you Accalia, you can tell her that.'

We passed the tree line, were the wolves were waiting for us. Dani yawned as she rested on the back of a small grey wolf. 'You should shift, ' The woman spoke. 'It's going to be a long run.'

'Unless you rather walk,' Dani spoke. 'I am so ready to go home and kiss my mate.'

I rolled my eyes. 'I think Leto wouldn't mind stretching her legs,' I hesitated when Dani and the wolves kept staring at me. 'Don't let us keep you from undressing. We're all women here.' She wiggled her eyebrows.

I sighed and took a deep breath, closing my eyes as I let Leto take control. My joints positioning themselves and then I shifted. I stretched my legs, stretching my claws into the sand.

My head tilted to the side as Dani as her eyes darkened, mind-linking someone. 'You can walk with Rieka,' She laughed as I frowned. 'The Beta.'

I made my way forward, the wolves staring at me. The Beta bowed her head lightly before she started to run, I felt a soft nudge in the back of my mind and opened the link.

'I wanted to thank you for helping Dani, miss..' I recognized the voice as Rieka's.

'It's Accalia.. and no problem. It is the least I could do.' I turned my head to look at Dani, fast asleep on the back of the wolf.

'I know who you are, we all do.' Rieka said, closing off the link.

I sighed as Rieka refused to open the link again and followed their lead. It felt like we had been running for ages when we reached a gigantic waterfall. They slowly formed a line behind one another as we walked over the small ledge behind the waterfall. Leading us into a cave, I could feel the heavy feeling of magic as we passed some kind of barrier.

The forest behind the barrier smelled amazing, as did the water. It felt like we were in a completely different world. Dani nudged me out of my trance. 'Shift back idiot. Need someone to walk with me. Don't worry we have an extra set of clothes hidden. I turned to look around and saw nine gorgeous woman. They were all quite muscular, all had the moon phases tattooed on their spine. I recognized the two woman from before, and just now realized they were twins.

'Where am I?' I was stunned with the gorgeous place as I followed the group out of the forest, 'This is the Luna Tempus pack.' She brought us to a beautiful big pack house. Small houses surrounded it with a beautiful lake in the middle.

Rieka turned to me. 'Let me introduce you to the others. The twins are Maya and Tia, the two on the left Diana and Kira,' She turned towards the woman on her right. 'This is my mate and Gamma, 'Rollin Daisier,' She kissed the woman on her cheek. 'The other three are Liza, Haiko and Kensi.'

They all smiled politely, yet didn't spare me another look. We made our way to the pack house, Dani leaning heavily on my shoulders.

A red haired woman came running over to us, Dani laughed, 'Hello darling,' she spoke softly, her voice husky as she hugged the woman tight. 'I have missed you.'

The woman growled, hitting Dani on the back of her arm. 'You said you'd be gone one day! You let yourself get caught, you could have been killed!'

Dani sighed, but a low chuckle escaped her. 'Accalia, meet my feisty mate and pack doctor. Aita Serain.'

My eyes flickered over the both of them and smiled. 'That makes sense to be honest. You need someone to apply pressure to the breaks from time to time.' Dani frowned as her mate laughed. 'Nice to meet you Accalia,' Aita spoke, bowing her head lightly. 'Follow me, Kena is waiting.'

Kena.. I repeated, Leto got more and more excited the closer we got to our mate. I could barely hear Aita explaining the different buildings to me. A woman in the distance caught my attention and the closer we got the more I could see who she really was.

Her gorgeous wavy, black hair framed her perfect face. She was a little taller than me, her body muscular. Her jeans fit her curves perfectly as did the t-shirt as my gaze lingered on her chest. Dani coughed, my face turned red. I met the gaze of the woman in front of me, her icy blue eyes pierced mine and instantly both our eyes began to glow, before fading back to our own color.

Deep down I knew her.

She spoke, her voice angelic yet she seemed not too happy to see me.
