~Azalea POV~'Again!' Belle roared at me. Salty droplets flown down my like soft summer rain, dripping onto the grass as I lean heavily on my knees to regain my breath. My legs were empty and there is a rising feeling of nausea forming in my stomach. It didn't cease to amaze me that the muscles that were working so hard only seconds ago, were now struggling to hold my weight.
Belle had increased the intensity of our training and I was struggling big time. I took a deep breath and forced myself to stand up. Belle smirked as she tossed the fighting stick back into my direction. My eyes roamed over Belle, she didn't seem to struggle at all. The delicious scent that filled my senses made it clear that Kena had come to watch and I couldn't help but let my eyes dart to the sideline as Kena took a place next to Dani and Rollin.
Belle growled as she hit me right in the ribs. Anger rushed through me as she spoke, 'Focus Azalea.'
Leto growled loudly as I dodged her next few attacks, but she was faster and stronger. She had a lot more practice than I did. She kept swinging at me, she growled under her breath as she blocked the few punches I did manage to throw at her. 'Your emotions control you Azalea.'
This time Belle fully shifted into her Lycan as she threw the stick right at Kena. I didn't know what came over me as Leto took control, shifting us as she pushed us to our limit. Within a second I was in front of Kena, blocking the stick as it broke in half.
Anger surged through me, she tried to hurt our mate. Leto growled loudly as my eyes flickered once more, the wind picking up and the ground shook.
Belle growled as she marched over, 'None of you have any idea how strong and fast Lycans are. You have a big advantage here Azalea. You. You are Royal Lycan Queen. You need to focus.'
Her words hit me as I shifted back. Belle sighed and shifted back, resting her hand on my arm. The wind died down and the ground stopped shaking. I could sense the disappointment from Belle. She was my mother's her Beta and I was nothing like my mother. Every time I thought I had the Queen part under control, something would mess it up and that was mainly me.
'Belle..' I tried.
'How long have you known about your fathers power?' She asked, before handing a fighting stick to Kena. My fathers power? I didn't know about any power my father had. The time I saw him in the cave, he was in his wolf form. Mainly explaining the entire situation and that they were part God. Belle chuckled softly. 'Your father controlled nature. Although he never truly got the hang of it. But it would explain everything surrounding your emotions.'
Her eyes darted to Kena who stood. 'You are up.'
Confusion hit me. 'What?' My eyes ran over Kena and her eyes twinkled with joy. She wasn't truly going to fight Belle, right? 'What are you doing?'
Kena chuckled, planting a kiss on my cheek. 'I figured it is the right time to start training to control my Lycan. In case it just shows up. I have to take advantage of Belle her knowledge.'
My shoulders slumped back as sat down next to Dani. Dani chuckled as she nudged me, 'Lighten up princess.'
They turned their attention to Belle and Kena. I frowned, staring at the grass as I sunk further away in my thoughts. An emotional hurricane at full force today, frustration building up to a point I thought I'd explode. I wanted to vent, beat my hands on to the ground and wanted to let everything out. Anxiety and fear grabbed me by the tongue and dry my mouth. Leto growled lightly, trying to remind me everything would be okay. But I could feel the fear in my chest waiting to take over, although I doubted it was fear.
