'Ivy..' I whispered, recalling the memory. Kena eyed me curiously. Ivy smiled, grabbing my hands and squeezing them tightly.

'I am so glad you're safe, You look so much like your mother.' She pulled me into a hug. 'I bet you have millions of questions.'

Kena nudged me forward, whispering: 'Go with Ivy, I will be here.' Kena her fingers lingered a little longer around my arms before leaving me with Ivy. We walked in silence for a while, the only sound that we could hear were the guards following us.

'It has come to my attention that you know absolutely nothing about Leto, Kena or your own history.' Ivy started the conversation. 'I guess you could say that,' I kicked a rock, 'What kind of woman was my mother?'

Her green eyes studied me and sighed, 'You're mother was one powerful Lycan queen. Bringing Lycans and wolves together, but her family and her decisions caught up to her.'

We stood on a hill, looking out over the party. I looked around and I realized the guards were gone. 'They're hiding in the woods, don't worry.'

With an ancient Lycan Luna and me being a puppy compared to her, I wasn't worried at all.

'The God Leto, gave birth to Apollo and Artemis. She went to Lycia with them to bathe her children in a spring. Out of nowhere wolves came out to meet her, and wagging their tails. They lead her to the river Xanthus, where she drank the water and bathed them,' she paused, 'Years later, Leto disappeared but a baby had been left around the river. Apollo quite quickly took over the wolves, as he became the protector and master of the wolves.'

'The baby was my mother?'

'Correct, no one knew who her father or her mother was. Just that her wolf Leto refused anyone around her. She grew up under the wings of Apollo and Artemis, soon she took over the pack. She became one of the strongest, most caring Alpha's ever. Everyone feared her. It was only years later where she found out about the Moon Goddess, having four children of her own. Which lead to the packs we have now, sure more packs have created their own territory,' She glanced towards me.

'When I mated with Amaruq, she was there to meet me. God, I was truly surprised to learn I was mated to an Elder. The pressure I felt on my shoulder that day. But Deianira calmed my nerves, she even showed me the ropes. When Kena turned four.. no one could take her away from Deianira. We all knew Kena would be extremely powerful, that being the only daughter.' She explained.

I knew Kena was one powerful woman, we all knew the stories about the daughter of the Moon Goddess. Part wolf and part Goddess.

Ivy continued: 'Kena not being able to stay away with Deianira confirmed our suspicions to her being pregnant with you. We knew whoever she birthed would be mated to Kena. We just never knew who she mated with.'

'How is that possible? We aren't supposed to know who our mate is until we turn 18.' I turned towards her. A small smile formed itself on her face, yet her eyes showed sadness.

'You have.. ancient strong blood. You could have known who you mate was by the age of three. Yet you wouldn't have known the meaning of it. You wouldn't be able to explain why you wanted to stay near that person, why you would cry when they would leave. It is because your wolf wasn't aware of it yet.'

'What happened to my mother?' I asked, afraid to know the truth. But I knew I needed to know, I refused to show any sign of weakness.

Ivy sighed, pain flashed through her green eyes as she remembered the memories. She closed her eyes, pushing the tears away. 'Lycaon believed your mother was his only way of getting revenge on Zeus. Cyllene, his true mate found out about your mothers pregnancy. She was furious, she thought Lycaon had been unfaithful. She promised to bring harm on anyone who would stop her from killing your mother.'

My blood boiled the more she spoke about the occurrence.

'Your mother made sure Kena was safe, and when she gave birth to you. She fought everyone off until you were safe. Belle and I brought you to the witches, they sworn to protect you. When we returned to help your mother she was gone. Disappeared, just like Leto had done years before.'

Leto whimpered in the back of my mind, supporting me as the reality of the situation hit me. Ivy held my hand, 'I promised your mother back then to help you through everything, and I will. My pledge is to you Azalea. You are just like your mother, stronger even don't let anyone make you believe otherwise.' Her claw dug into my hand. I realized she had made a blood bound between the both of us.

Loud growling stopped our conversation as we watched some of our wolves rush towards the tree line, shifting mid air as they headed for the enemy. Ivy grabbed my arm. 'Be careful, Cyllene will never give up.'

I nodded. 'I will. Thank you.'

She smiled as she shifted into a gorgeous Lycan. My mouth opened in awe, she sprinted ahead of me. I couldn't keep up with the Lycan speed. By the time I reached the pack grounds most of our fighters were calling out to each other. 'Another group at the east side of the forest!' I recognized Rollin her voice, as she rushed towards the east side with a group of fighters. Leto growled in the back of my mind as pain hit me. We lost one..

Nimue was by my side in an instance. 'Focus on your breathing dear, it'll help you focus.' I carefully eyed the deer next to her, not leaving Nimue her side once. The deer carefully walked up to me as it licked the cut on my hand. Nimue smiled, 'I see. You freed a Lycan.'

I frowned, 'What do you mean?'

Suddenly my ears picked up trouble on the north side, without thinking I shifted and rushed towards the group fighting over there. Leto leant me her strength as we pushed ourselves. I growled loudly as some of our fighters were having trouble fighting off the rogues. I pushed myself as I jumped in front of them, fighting of the rogues one by one. Power surged through my veins as I bit down hard on one of the rogues, a sigh escaped his body before the life escaped his body.

In the distance I saw Kena fighting next to Ivy, Ivy having no trouble fighting of the rogues as she tried her best to protect Kena. Some of our fighters had shifted back from their injuries as they leaned heavily onto my body.

After Ivy and Kena had killed the last few, they shifted back. Helping our pack members back to the house. My eyes glued to Ivy, she had a lot to explain. I shifted back and ran straight into Kena her arms, she held me tight. Refusing to let go as she inhaled my scent to calm her and Alcione down. Everything was under control.

Through the mind link I could hear Rieka telling Kena they had caught one and would bring him towards the cell.

'You did great love..' She kissed my temple.

Rollin walked over to us. 'Kena..' you have to see this.' She handed us a piece of paper. 'We found this attached to one of the rogues.'

Kena let her eyes roam over the paper, as an anger growl left her throat. Handing me the paper.

'Until next time Alba Lupi. Much love, Cyllene.'
