The sunlight hit my face as I groaned, covering myself further into the blankets. I could hear the familiar shuffle of Kena around the room. My eyes following her getting dressed in some black jeans that hugged her curves, she wore a tank top with a denim jacket. Today was going to be busy, the last arrangements for the ceremony because tonight would be the full moon.

I felt the bed dip next to me and turned to meet her beautiful blue eyes. My heart picking up a pace at the sight of her. This feeling would never get old. 'Good morning little mate,' she whispered huskily. 'How are you feeling?'

I stretched my muscles and gave her a kiss, 'Sore.'

She chuckled and stood, 'I am about to see Alora before the ceremony, care to join me?'

I instantly stood, I could feel Kena eyeing my naked body as a low purr rolled through her chest. I rolled my eyes as I rushed to get ready. 'When is the ceremony?' I truly wondered what kind of ceremony it was, mostly because I never got the witness it but also because Kena explained that these kind of ceremonies only existed in the Elder packs.

'It starts in two hours, but the ceremony itself isn't until tonight.' Kena sounded from inside the bedroom. I hurried out of the bathroom, dressed in jeans and a grey sweater. Kena was roaming through some papers on her desk in the corner of the room.

'Ready?' Her eyes ran up my legs, over my chest to meet my eyes and a possessive growl escaped her. 'The sweater sure makes your eyes pop, little mate.' Kena picked me up, carrying me to our bed. She dropped me on top of the bed as she hovered over me.

My gaze ran over her beautiful face, her icy blue eyes took me in quietly. She seemed unsure of the sudden stare yet let it happen. I ran my fingers through her hair, tucking a strand of her black hair behind her ear. I could feel Leto banging on the invisible wall as I locked her out of this moment. 'You are gorgeous,' I whispered, planting a soft kiss on her lips. I could hear her heart skip a beat as her cheeks turned a shade of pink. 'But.. we have things to do.'

She sighed, 'Alright.'

She helped me up and opened the door for me, instantly grabbing my hand as we walked out of the door. The usual greetings from the pack members as we passed the dining hall. The smell of fresh pancakes hitting my nose as my stomach rumbled. I saw Dani and the rest sitting in the corner of the room, stuffing their faces with pancakes. Kena leaned down, 'We can stop to eat pancakes if you want.'

I shook my head, 'No, it's fine. I want to see Alora first.'

A small pout formed on her perfect face and I carefully eyed her, 'I guess we can eat pancakes first.'

Her small pout turned into a beautiful smile and I rolled my eyes, shoving her into the dining room. As she went to grab us some pancakes, I moved to take a seat next to Dani. 'Hey girl,' Dani spoke her mouth filled with food.

'Tasteful,' Rollin said, rolling her eyes. Dani rolled her eyes, continuing to stuff the pancakes in her mouth. She mumbled something, 'What?'

'Finish your food woman.' Rollin scolded her with a small chuckle. Kena took a seat next to me as she handed me my plate. God, this smelled amazing and I dug in.

Dani swallowed her last bite, 'I wanted to ask if you already spoke to Alora?'

Kena shook her head, but didn't answer as her mouth was full with food. 'No, we were about to but Kena wanted pancakes.'

Kena shrugged and Rollin rolled her eyes, 'I can see why you two are friends,' She stood, excusing herself. 'I am going to see if Rieka wants some before everything is gone.'

'You are going to make sure, right Kena?' Dani urged, 'She has to.'

Kena sighed, 'I am going to try Dani. But it is her decision in the end. I can't force her to considering her history here. Besides, attending a ceremony like this will verge a lot of her and her wolf.'

My eyes roamed over both of them as they continued to talk as if I wasn't around. Alora had history here? 'Alora?'

Kena nodded her head yes, eyeing me carefully as if she was trying to read my mind. I abruptly stood, the chair falling on the ground and I hurried to the infirmary. I instantly walked past Aita to Alora. 'Good morning Luna,' She said with a wink, 'How are yo-'

She stopped as she eyed me and sighed, looking away from me.

'You don't want to join the pack?' I forced back the growl that was forcing it way out. Dani and Kena carefully joined the conversation. Alora frowned, 'It isn't that Accalia, I just.. too much happened here.'

In the corner of my eyes I saw Dani nudge Kena forward, 'Alora, I would be happy to have you re-join the pack. For starters I never wanted you to leave.'

My eyes grew wide, Alora had already been part of the Luna Tempus pack? Slowly but certainly the puzzle pieces fell together. From Dani being locked up, to her pushing me into this direction. 'You knew? From the start?' I whispered, pain evident in my voice.

Alora shook her head, 'No, truly no. I mean.. I knew Dani. I just,' she paused. 'I didn't know it was you, until the first time I met Leto.'

I forced back the tears in the corner of my eyes. Deceived by my best friend, 'Why didn't you tell me?'

Alora sighed, eyeing Dani for help. 'When Alora found out you were possibly Deianira her daughter, she and I met up. In Naomi her cabin and honestly no one believed Alora at first. Considering we had searched high and low for you, you had disappeared without a trace.' Dani spoke.

'Honestly we were kind of lucky Alora ended up in the same pack as you.' Aita spoke out of nowhere.

Kena wrapped her arms around me, 'I am sorry I thought you knew.' She whispered, hating the pain I was in right now. I squeezed her hand, 'Why did you leave the pack Alora?'

Alora sighed, 'I was one of Kena her first guardians Accalia.'
