~Kena~'We have to do something,' I growled, my fist slamming on the new desk. Dani and Rieka instantly took a step back. I refused to lose my mate to a vicious woman with issues. Amaruq placed his hand over my arm.
'We will come up with a plan. I will contact Beo.' He tried to reassure me. I fought hard to keep the tears from forming in the corner of my eyes. I hated feeling vulnerable especially in front of my Beta and Delta who averted their gazes.
'Three elders fighting one woman, what could go wrong.' Dani exclaimed, trying to light the mood. I knew she was right, but I knew that I would rather die than to lose Accalia. I also knew that my older brother hated fighting, he was more the talking kind of man.
A light knock on the door paused our conversation as Ivy walked in, eyeing Amaruq. 'You ready to go?'
Amaruq stood, nodding his head. 'I will see you again in three weeks, hopefully Beo will join our side by that time. He always had a hard time saying no to his little sister.'
Ivy chuckled as Amaruq walked out of the door. She turned to me, 'I know you and especially Accalia, will have millions of questions regarding to me breaking the spell,' She held my hand. 'Trust me when I say that I never in a million years thought it would work.'
Dani eyed me, 'What spell?'
Ivy smiled, 'The one spell Deianira forced on us to maintain our safety. I am not a hundred percent sure Accalia is the key,' She turned back towards me. 'I will discuss the matter with Belle when we meet Beo.'
I nodded, hugging her tight. 'Thank you,' I whispered, without her last night we would've lost many more. A simple thank you wasn't enough. 'For everything.'
'Everyone deserves happiness Kena, especially you after centuries.' She winked as she walked out of the office door. Dani eyed me, 'What spell Kena?'
I rubbed my temples, 'When Deianira disappeared so did the Lycan line. No one knew how or what, Ivy and Bella believe it's some kind of spell with no knowing the key to break it.'
'Lycans..?' Rieka questioned.
'Ivy somehow broke her spell and she is still trying to work out how,' I frowned, I had too much on my mind. This new found information was a lot to deal with. If Cyllene was indeed back for revenge, our lives would be in danger. 'I need a break.' Alcione purred softly in the back of my mind at the thought of seeing our mate.
Dani smirked, 'A mate break?'
I smile escaped me, 'Maybe.'
Dani smiled, 'I am happy for you.'
Rieka rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. 'We all are, but we still need to discuss our Luna's safety.'
'We'll have another meeting tomorrow, we all need some time to recover from the recent events. Make sure Nimue will attend as well.'
They both nodded their head as they left the room. I closed the office door as I made my way down the hall to my room. Alcione purred lowly as her scent hit me, it smelled like rain after a hot day mixed with a hint of vanilla. With the recent information and the full moon nearing I had to admit I was on edge. The thought of losing Accalia was driving me insane. I opened the door and she was sitting on the bed, trying to read a book. My heart fluttered at the sight of her little frown as she tried to understand what was written.
Her silver white hair tucked behind her ear, a few strands falling down. Her eyes trailed over my body before they reached mine and I sucked in a breath. Her silver eyes pierced right through me. 'What?' She whispered softly as I walked over to her, a shy smile formed itself on her perfect face. I removed a lock of her hair from her face.
