'Ivy and Nimue are on their way.' Dani spoke, breaking the silence. We had left the room and were currently sitting in the tiny office of Aita. 'Who is Brynn?' I asked.

Kena and Dani eyed each other, 'Brynn was one of my guardians assigned to me by your mother,' Kena spoke, 'She was a young, strong Lycan wolf.'

'And.. she was the one you were drawn to. The brown haired woman, I mean.' Dani spoke softly, meeting my eyes.

Kena seemed to be deep in thought, trying to make sense of it all. No one understood what had happened and that wasn't even the entire story. Kena didn't know I burned down some trees. Everyone stayed quiet until we could hear the soft shuffle of Nimue and Ivy.

Dani instantly opened the door. 'Thank the moon.. please break this silence.' She mumbled softly as Nimue walked by, Ivy couldn't help but chuckle.

Dani pulled out a chair for Nimue and she quickly sat down, her eyes taking me in. 'How are you feeling?'

Ivy kneeled in front of me, her eyes meeting mine. 'Like something is breaking me from the inside.' I confessed, which earned a low growl from Kena. Ivy smiled softly, 'How is Leto?'

'Quiet, more quiet and more exhausted.' Guilt spread through me.

Ivy eyed me, squeezing my hand. ' What happened? Walk me through it, step by step. As much as you remember.'

I sighed, sitting up straight. 'When we reached the infirmary, something pushed me in the back of my mind to open the door. The closer I got to, Brynn, the stronger it felt. It told me to accept it, to help her and to stop fighting it. She ordered me to free her.'

'She?' Ivy asked.

'Ordered?' Dani her voice sounded.

I nodded my head, 'Yes.. she. There was this strong power, radiating through her words. It is hard to explain what it felt like. But I know she was trying to order me. But.. not to hurt me or anything. She tried to help me.'

'And Leto was her gateway,' Ivy spoke softly, crossing her arms. , She smiled at my confused gaze, 'Alcione triggered your Lycan gene with the help of a powerful being. I feel like this power you are feeling is your Lycan trying to break free. Leto is the gateway, and by that I mean that this woman is trying to guide you through Leto.'

Worry filled me, but it wasn't mine. My gaze moved towards Kena, her gaze was hard and cold as she stared at the wall. Deep in thought, my gently grabbed her hand, squeezing it. She smiled warmly, escaping her trance.

'Accalia, shifting in your Lycan is dangerous for you and Leto without the proper training. I think, Brynn is your key to breaking free. This woman is trying to get you to wake up Brynn to help you.' Ivy said as she stood, 'You and I are going to train together from now one.'

Kena eyed her, 'Are you sure Ivy?'

Ivy nodded her head, 'Yes Kena. She needs to start training as a Lycan.'

'Alright.' I said. Eyeing Ivy, she was right. I had to start training like a proper Lycan, everyone was counting on me and I knew Leto and I had to get stronger for the upcoming battles. 'Tomorrow 10am.' Ivy said, before leaving the room.

Kena stood, leaning in to capture her lips with mine. 'Alright little mate.'

Dani made a gagging noise and I couldn't help but laugh. 'Get a room you two.'

Kena rolled her eyes, 'Leave Dani.'

She groaned but left the room with Aita and Nimue. My eyes were glued to Kena, she tilted her head as a seductive smirk showed itself on her gorgeous face. She crossed her arms, her long black hair in a messy bun. I bit my lip fighting the urge to kiss her.

Kena chuckled, 'I got to get ready.'

It snapped me out of my trance, 'Ready for what?' I quickly followed her to her office.

'My meetings little mate, did you forget?'

I frowned as I watched her roam around her office to grab the documents she needed. I had completely forgotten about the upcoming meetings with her brothers. They had to visit Amaruq his pack and Beowulf, they had a lot to discuss since the Cyllene had made it clear she was around and clearly wanted revenge. I was supposed to tag along.

'I am sorry, I can cancel the training.. I can tell Ivy to-'

She cut me off, her body pushing against mine as my back hit the wall. She tasted like cheap wine but mixed with her spicy, woodsy scent. My heart was doing things I didn't think it was capable of, and my hands were shaking from excitement. Her lips felt like heaven, and I could feel her hands roaming down my cheek and to my neck. my hands had been gripping her thin waist this entire time, too afraid and stunned to let them go any further down or up.

Everything in the world just seemed to stop, like it always did in these moments. Moments where it felt like it was just her and I and nothing else.

She pulled away from me, dropping her hands. I just watched her silently, taking in her beautiful figure and too stunned to actually speak. Besides she looked irresistible at the moment, her seductive gaze her mischievous smirk I let out a low growl. I didn't hesitate as I closed the little space between us, pushing her against the desk. This time my hands took her face and pulled her closer as hers gripped my waist, sending shock waves through my body.

Kissing her way like the ultimate high, it felt amazing and it made me hungry for more. Kissing her was like a dream, a dream I didn't want to wake up from. She was my safe haven.

Her breath was growing deeper and I realized I hadn't been breathing the entire time we had been kissing, I sucked in a deep breath as I kissed her lips again. Not wanting to stay away from them for too long, I was holding her close to me, afraid that if I let her go she would float away from me.

Then her hands roamed up the sides of my shirt, pressing against my bare skin. Something inside of me stirred as I felt the familiar shivers of pleasure erupt from every pore in my body, and all she was doing was touching me. A low growl escaped me, but we didn't pay much attention to it.

Then Amaruq walked in and he quickly covered his eyes. 'Sorry!' He chuckled.

Kena and I flew apart, fixing ourselves. Embarrassment flowing through me. Kena laughed, pressing a kiss against my temple.

'Hey sir.' I spoke quietly.

'We have to get going sis, Beowulf found more death Omega's.' He spoke. A low growl escaped Kena. More? My stomach tightened with the thought of the dead bodies around the borders. I wonder who had to be sick enough to kill wolves, as if it was nothing. Her gaze met mine, 'I will be back as soon as I can. Please stay safe alright.'

I walked them to the SUV, Amaruq helped Kena with her bags. In the distance I saw my friends train, I missed it. Kena followed my trail of sight, planting a kiss on my cheek. 'Please don't get hurt.' She pleaded and all I could do was nod my head.

'Please be careful Kena, please.'

She smiled and got into the car. I watched her go, the empty feeling returning to me the minute she left my side. Leto seemed to be pacing around in the back of my mind, not happy with the loss of our mate.
