I stared at the wall behind Alora, her words repeating themselves inside my head. Alora and I had been friends for years, she never thought to mention this.

'Azz.. say something.' Alora her pleading voice came through. My eyes glanced towards the closed door in the corner of the room. Alora her mate had died in a fire, one of those women behind that door was Alora her mate. My chest felt heavy, I completely understood why Alora had a hard time accepting this invitation of joining the pack.

'It is a lot to progress right now.' I answered honestly. A small smile formed itself on Alora her face, 'I know. I am sorry.'

My eyes turned to Kena, 'So if everyone knew why didn't you come?'

Dani chuckled as Kena scratched the back of her neck, she knew Kena had to come clean right now. 'Eh.. well, we were both as risk at the time. An unmated Elder is weaker and even though Conan his mate died, he still has the upper hand and honestly after centuries of searching for you, it was hard to believe you were this close after all this time. '

'We had to convince her to test out our theory, it's why we ended up in your territory and honestly, it was pure luck you ended up running up the hill,' Dani shrugged, leaning against the doorpost. 'Although I had to admit, seeing another white wolf was shocking to say the least.'

'When you told me you found your mate, I knew enough and Dani started our little rescue plan we had been discussing and planning for months,' Alora spoke, 'We just forgot to add Conan's ego to the plan. For starters I never meant for you to get thrown into the cell either.'

Dani rolled her eyes, 'So yeah, unfortunately I won't get to hear the end of it. But Rieka had to bust us out.'

'The only reason he let us go is because he knew he wouldn't be able to fight us at that moment, but I know the time will come.' Kena sighed.

A soft knock on the door startled us as a young wolf walked in. 'We are ready Alpha.'

Kena nodded her head, eyeing me as to make sure I was feeling alright with this information. Although it pained me that my best friend kept me in the dark, I did end up where I belonged. Both of them risked their lives for me and I could never repay them. Without them I wouldn't have ended up with Kena, hell I'd probably be forcibly mated to Conan. I grimaced at the thought. I turned towards Alora, 'I truly hope to see you tonight,' My eyes wandered off to the door in the back before turning to her. Showing her I knew the emotional baggage she carried. 'But I do understand if you refuse.'

Alora smiled, 'Thank you.'

I grabbed Kena her hand as we walked out of the infirmary to the open field. The decoration was beautiful, music was being played, there were lanterns everywhere and everyone seemed to enjoy the little party. My eyes lingered on Kena her neck, there was this unknown primal urge bubbling up inside of me as I watched her eye her pack. Something deep down wanted to take control and claim Kena as hers for eternity.

'You okay?' Kena asked, I quickly shook the thought out of my head. But the feeling stayed, Leto growled softly in the back of my head. 'Yes ma'am.'

For the next few hours we just enjoyed each others company, we danced and watched most of our pack members just enjoy the day. We could only hope there wouldn't be any attacks, but Kena had assured me that scouts were spread over the territory. Suddenly the lanterns turned on, meaning it was time to start the ceremony.

'What are we supposed to do now?' I asked, unsure of the situation as the music had turned off and everyone stared at us.

Kena grabbed my hand as she chuckled, leading us to the front. 'During the night of the full moon, their wolves be near the surface which means they feel close to the Moon. Since I am the Daughter of the Full moon, they will feel the need to bond with me. All they have to do is repeat the oath and they will be granted the pack mark.'

Alright, that didn't seem to complicated. 'What do I do?'

She eyed me, 'They take the oath to both of us, little mate. They fight for you and I, just like we fight for each and every one of them.'

Kena grabbed my hand and the crowd turned their attention towards us, all anxiously waiting. 'You just be their Luna little wolf,' She whispered. 'As you all most likely have sensed is that we have a few new wolves with us,' Her powerful aura hit the ones around us. 'Tonight they will take their oath and be welcomed to the family.'

Everyone cheered as the group of Omega's one by one walked up the stage. My eyes roaming around the group in front of me. No sight of Alora.

'She'll come, little mate. Don't worry.' Kena her voice rang as she squeezed my hand.

Kena made a small cut in the palm of her hand, as did the group of Omega's one by one. One by one they repeated their oath as the pack link snapped in their place. I could feel the need to protect them snap in their places one by one.

My gaze snapped towards the moon as I felt the strong pull thrive through my veins, Leto growled loudly in the back of my head as she fought for control. My eyes flickering, I forced them shut. Forcing the primal urge down. No was not the time.

The entire pack greeted them as the last one took their oath. Still no sight of Alora, I sighed. She had made their decision. Kena kissed my temple, 'I am sorry little mate.'

'Wait! Wait!' A voice yelled, the crowd stepped aside when we saw Alora, leaning heavily on Dani. I instantly rushed forward, letting her lean on my other shoulder as we helped her to the stage. 'I am so happy you came.' I whispered.

Dani chuckled as I smacked the back of her head. 'Behave yourself.'

Kena smiled, 'I am glad to have you back Alora.' Kena moved to make a cut in her hand but Alora stopped her. 'No.'

I frowned, 'No?'

Her eyes met mine, 'I want you to do it Accalia. I took an oath years ago to protect and serve you. I want my oath to be to you. I want you to accept me as your guardian.'

Everyone kept quiet, 'Are you sure Alora? You don't have to become a guardian again.' Kena spoke softly, true concern evident in her soft voice. Alora smiled, 'Kena, I want to do this. I need to do this.'

Kena smiled, nodding her head yes. Kena kissed my temple as she grabbed my hand. 'Are you sure?'

I nodded my head, ignoring the wave of sparkles that erupted when she touched my hand. I felt the tip of the cold knife on my warm hand as I bit my tongue as it cut my palm. Kena let out a low growl at the sight of blood. Alora then cut her own hand.

When our hands met I felt the power surge through me, Leto growling loudly as the primal urge from before rushed back to the surface. I squinted my eyes to focus on the words of the oath, my gums hurting as they forced my teeth out of the way for my canines.

'I swear an oath of love and light. To honor and protect my Alpha, my Luna and my pack through every phase of the moon. To die and to serve as a guardian of Azalea Deianira.' Alora spoke, both of our eyes lit up and I felt something snap into its place.
