C H A P T E R ~ S I X

MARINETTE POV:

~One month later~

It had been about a month since I slipped my biggest secret to Adrien. 

And to my surprise, he's taken it really well. He doesn't treat me any differently than before, he hasn't told anyone, and he hasn't tried to blackmail me for it. Which I appreciate, but besides that, he is still the piece of shit that he always has been.

Alya posted the video of me doing badass stunts on Adrien a month ago on her Ladyblog, and it is the most viral video that doesn't have anything to to with Ladybug on her blog. 

HA! In your fucking model face, Blondie!

I still couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that I was able to do pull out some of my Ladybug stunts as Marinette, but I'm so glad I did, 'cause it was fucking awesome!

"Hey, Marinette!" Tikki chirped, causing me to slip out of my flashback, "Are you looking forward to the next two weeks?" She asked. 

She looked like she was about to burst from glee any moment.

My eyes widened, "Shit! Is someone's birthday in two weeks? Wait! Is my birthday in two weeks?" I asked, starting to panic. 

She simply giggled, "No silly, your birthday is months from now! I was talking about the Gala for the one year anniversary for the defeat of Shadowmoth!" She pridefully announced.

Even though her intentions were to calm me down, It just made me remember all the sleepless nights, battels, and damage it caused me. 

I was invited a month ago as Ladybug to attend. Even though I accepted a month ago, I still had so much to do to prepare.

"Shit! Tikki, I still need to make my dress for the Gala! I'm so fucked!" 

She saw me in my panicked state and flew on my shoulder, "Hey, calm down. I have seen you pull together much more stressful projects in much shorter time, and they always turn out amazing! You can do this Marinette!"

I gave her a firm nod and stood up from my desk in a heroic stance, "Your right Tikki!" I exclaimed, feeling empowered to get to work, "I will make this amazing dress! As soon as I finish the five other projects I'm working on...UGH!" 

My confidence slowly started to trail off as I listed the other projects I had promised to do in a short time.

I plopped back down in my desk chair and slammed my head on my desk in discouragement. 

Tikki let out a sigh and tapped my head. I turned my face from the desk to her, "Mmm?" I hummed. 

"Well, let's not procrastinate then!" She flew over to the supplies drawer and picked up some scissors. 

She struggled to get them over to me since the were a bit to heavy for her to lift easily. 

I let out a laugh as she dropped them next to my face in exhaustion and wiped her brow. "Let's get started, shall we?" 

I lifted my head off the desk with a small smile on my face and picked up the scissors, "We shall!"

'Sup my Bugaroos! I'm sorry for the short chapter, but it is a big part of the start of a new part of the book! So I hope that is all the apologizing that I have to do *fingers crossed!
