ADRIEN POV:

I went to bed that night feeling uneasy about what I had promised Grace.

She was some of the only 'family' I've ever had! And now she's moving! To another fucking part of the country! So of course I want to spend every possible last moment with her and make memories that she and I'd cherish for the rest of our lives! But When I agreed to this, I forgot the very important fact that I had agreed to coming to this Ladybug and Chat Noir Gala months ago! But I could always just not go to the Gala because it's not like I'm Chat Noir or someone important to the event! What a problem I've avoided...

Oh, I forgot just tiny-weeny-totally-not-a-big-deal problem...I am Chat fucking Noir!

I groaned in frustration and pressed my pillow over my face. I let out a muffled yell of anger at myself for being so stupid, to forget something that has my reputation riding on this!

I ripped the pillow off my face, and glared into the abyss. I wish there was a way to have two of me in one place! I could have the real me spend my last moments with Grace, and my copy go to the Gala.

If only life were that easy...

~The Next Morning~

As I got out of the shower, I had come to the decision that I would spend most of my morning with Grace, and then abandon her at noon to go home and get ready, and have time to get all the way to Saint-Malo.

I really wanted to spend more time with her, and If the Gala was held in Paris, I would be able to spend almost all day with her. But no! They had to be fancy and host it across the fucking country in Saint-Malo!

I fixed my hair, and put on some decent, yet casual clothes because I had not a damn clue on what we would be doing today.

As I exited my room, Grace was standing outside the door in something other than a business suit witch surprised me.

She was wearing high rise blue jeans with a simple white crop top. And since it was a bit breezy today, she layered it with an oversized, brown corduroy jacket.

I sometimes forget that she's only five years older than me, since she's always in business casual clothing and acts in such a mature way. But I'm glad that she's being more care-free and letting loose! It's fun seeing this side of her.

"Are you excited for our day? I know I am!" She exclaimed, bursting with glee.

I sadly smiled, remembering that I'd have to leave early, but I didn't want to spoil her mood just yet, "Yeah! It's nice to see this side of you! The more care-free, non-workaholic Grace!" I stated, gesturing to her, "And I never knew you had such a good eye for clothing!" I complimented.

She blushed at my statement, "U-um, th-thank you Adrien..." she expressed.

I smiled at her, this one more happy, "So, what are we doing first?" I pondered.

She nodded, and started to dig through her purse and pulled out a folded sheet of lined paper, "Let's see..." she stated, running her finger down the page, "We are going to...aha! We are going to go have breakfast at a cafe that I've always wanted to go to!" She exclaimed.

I laughed at all these emotions she was showing, "Lead the way, Miss Blanchet!" I stated, gesturing to the doorway.

She nodded and we made our way down the stairs and out of the door. I asked her if I needed to pull up a map, but she knew where this place was like the back of her hand and I continued to follow her.

"So, why have you never been here before?" I asked.

She shrugged, "Well for one, I could never afford this place with what I'm paid, and two, I had to look after you constantly, so I never had much free time!" She explained.
