After Gigantomachia breaks free, the Villain makes a run for the city. During this, Majestic uses his Quirk to to help the students get to safety. But before they were whisked away, Majestic speaks to the students.
Majestic: Your decisions and actions were correct. You kids played this right! Whatever happens now, don't ever doubt that!
With that, the Bad Batch along with Yaoyorozu and her team were whisked away to safety away from the rampaging Gigantomachia. After that, they saw the destruction left behind by Gigantomachia's rampage. Everyone was stunned by the level of destruction that they were seeing.
Sero: Shoji....are the Heroes....you know....
Shoji: It's too far. I can't confirm either way.
Yaoyorozu: This is...this is insane. The only reason we're alive....is because.....they didn't see us as worthy enemies.
Hunter: They're going to regret that. Tech, can you bring the Marauder to our location.
Tech: I can, but the Marauder is low on fuel.
Hunter: Then we'll need to move fast.
Yaoyorozu: What about Majestic....he....he....
Jiro could see that this was taking it's toll on Yaoyorozu. Without hesitation, Jiro walked over to Yaoyorozu and comforted her.
Komori: S...shouldn't the sedative have kicked in by now?!
Mineta: Our decisions....our actions.....did we really do the right thing? And the Pros too....did they make the right call? Seriously! This nightmare.....did we....did we just make it worse?!
It was at this point that Hunter stepped forward.
Hunter: I know things are looking bad, but we still have a job to do. Remember what Majestic said. We can't afford to let doubt stop us.
Jiro: Hunter's right. Right now, the people in the city need us. We may have failed to stop Gigantomachia, but we can still save as much people as we can. We are still Heroes. People need Heroes now more than ever.
It was at this moment that Yaoyorozu got up, spurred by Hunter and Jiro's words.
Yaoyorozu: Hunter and Jiro are right. We can't afford to sit back and beat ourselves up about what happened. We still have a job to do.
With that, the Bad Batch and the other began making their way to the city. Once they're in the city, Yaoyorozu coordinates her team to rescue, aid, and assist the wounded Heroes and civilians. The Bad Batch and the Heroes in training quickly saw the chaos and destruction left behind by Gigantomachia's rampage. At the same time, Nomu were seen attacking throughout the city. When a group of Nomu were seen getting too close, the Bad Batch took point.
Hunter: We'll keep the Nomu off of you! Help the civilians!
With that, the Bad Batch charged at the Nomu while Yaoyorozu and her team continued their work with the civilians. During the fight, a Nomu throws a punch at Wrecker, but Wrecker grabs the Nomu's fist.
Wrecker: My turn!
Wrecker then uses his strength to grab the Nomu and slam it to the ground. Tech then uses his Chart Quirk to map out a plan of attack.
Tech: Echo! Plug your Earphone Jacks to the ground!
Jiro: On it!
Jiro then plugs her Earphone Jacks into the ground and begins to channel her heartbeat into the ground. This causes the ground to shake. This allows Hunter and Wrecker to take the fight to the Nomu who struggled to keep their balance. As the fight dragged on, more Nomu swarmed them as well as Villains.
Hunter: Don't let them swarm you!
Tech: Might I suggest a tactical retreat?
Wrecker: We're just getting started!
Hunter: Tech's right! We can't let them box us in!
With that, the Bad Batch began falling back. During their retreat, Jiro throws several sonic grenades towards several buildings. The concussive blast causes some of the building to break away and block the entry.
Tech: That should buy us time.
Hunter: We need to regroup with Creati and her team!
With that, the Bad Batch began making their way to where Yaoyorozu and the others were. Despite the chaotic nature of the situation, they continued doing everything in their power to help anyone they could. As this happened, a fierce battle broke out all across the city. It wasn't long before both the Villains and the Nomu began to swarm them. This forces them to retreat into the Havoc Marauder. As they took off, a fire blast hits the Marauder. This causes Tech to lose control for a moment. Jiro quickly lost her balance and falls off.
Yaoyorozu: JIRO!
Jiro fell into an alleyway. She staggered as Hunter began to call her through her communicator.
Hunter(Communicator): ECHO! ECHO! Wake up!
Jiro slowly comes to, her armor cushioning her fall. She looks around to see Villains slowly coming on her position.
Hunter(Communicator): Echo! We can see them from the Marauder! They're coming for you! Get the hell out of there and find your way to the rooftops! Go! NOW!
Without hesitation, Jiro begins running away from the Villains. She cuts through a building to evade them. It wasn't long before she climbed the ladder to a nearby building.
Hunter(Communicator): Echo! I can see you! Make your way to the rooftop south of your position!
Tech(Communicator): Hunter, we're at low fuel! We have to leave quickly!
Hunter(Communicator): We're running on fumes here! Keep moving!
Jiro kept running even as Villains were closing in on her. She soon saw the Havoc Marauder hovering next to the building with it's loading ramp down. Without hesitation, Jiro jumps, barely catching the ramp. She climbs up inside and makes her way to the cockpit.
Hunter: Echo's in! Get us to the extraction point!
With that, the Havoc Marauder began making their way back to the forest to help Midnight and any other Pro Hero who were still at the forest. What they didn't know was that they would only find tragedy in the aftermath of this hellish battle.
