CHAPTER 01 - BOOK

"Walang hiya ka talaga, Arallonzhu!"

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad at tinignan nang seryoso si Tiffany na kanina pa angal nang angal simula noong sinundo ko siya sa penthouse niya.

Nandito kasi kami sa mall at alas diyes pa lang ng umaga. Hinatak ko lang talaga siya papunta rito. Wala na kain-kain at pumunta na kami kaagad kaya ganiyan na lang magreklamo ang unanong 'yan.

I really tried not to laugh at her face. Kasi naman, para siyang payat na panda sa laki ba naman ng eyebags at sakto pang maputi siya.

Ay hindi, maputla... Wala siyang dugo.

"Yah! You're the one who insisted na samahan ako, kaya wag kanang magreklamo." I told her.

I also slapped her mouth softly to keep her quiet because we were getting attention from others!

Wala talaga siyang hiya.

"What did you say!? When did I say that?!" she asked me exaggeratedly with her wide eyes.

She's a tarsier now, not a panda.

"Last night."

"Last night? We didn't even meet or talk last night!"

"Last night in my dream-ouch!"

I winced when she hit me on the shoulder but after a few seconds, I laughed at her reaction. Gagi eltea siya pri! Parang hindi niya talaga inaasahan 'yun.

"Wag ka na magalit. Pagkatapos natin bilhin 'yon, libre kita." pang uuto ko.

Sineryoso ko pa ang mukha ko para magmukhang totoo.

But of course, after nito ay iiwanan ko na siya. Bahala siya sa buhay niya. Matanda na siya, hindi lang halata.

"Ayang kaadikan mo sa libro! Pero sige, lilibre mo naman talaga ako sa ayaw at sa hindi mo gusto."

Natawa na lang ako sa loob looban ko. Oh, 'di ba? Ganyan ang life hacks!

As soon as we entered the bookstore, I automatically closed my eyes. Ghad, the addictive smell of books that even a few meters away, I could already smell its scent.

Legit!

"You look stupid, I hope you know that." I heard her whisper sa akin.

She even pulled the hem of my shirt!

I just laughed at what she said and walked towards the books. She bidded her goodbye dahil ngayon pa lang siya bibili ng mga kakailanganin sa school.

Tomorrow is our first day as 4th year law students. Ilang kembot na lang magiging attorney na kami... kung papalarin.

Pero kung hindi... Mag aasawa na lang ng attorney.

I came here really early to catch that book because it sold out quickly like, there was another 1k sale but after a few seconds, it sold out immediately!

I waited a few days and searched on social media to get it and found out that it was only available at this bookstore so, I immediately pulled Tiffany for it.

Tinatamad kasi ako magdrive kaya binulabog ko pa talaga si Tiffany na kakatulog lang daw kaninang ala sais ng umaga.

I looked around, but with the number of shelves here, I might see it tomorrow. I looked at the man who was arranging books there. He looked like a staff.
