CHAPTER 41 - EIRA (PART 1)

"I'll just buy something."

I said to Leonardo while wearing the long sleeve. He came here this morning because he wanted me to talk about the case we were handling together.

Well, he always comes to my penthouse to pick me up or just to give me chocolates and flowers.

He's courting me kasi.

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked as he stood up.

I shook my head in disapproval.

"No thanks. I'll come back as soon as possible."

He doesn't argue with me anymore because he knows me so well that if I say no, I won't.

Nothing can change my decisions.

It was still early in the morning, but I quickly entered the bookstore to buy it. That book was tough to buy. There were so many buyers that it sold out immediately.

I asked the staff member there if he knew where the book I was looking for and thank god! He pointed it out right away and even guided me to the shelves where it was.

But the moment I saw it, there's a tall girl who was also looking at the book.

I raised an eyebrow and quickly went to the book when I saw that she was going to take it.

"Your hand." I told her coldly habang siya naman ay napatulala sa mukha ko.

"Huh?" I raised my eyebrows while looking at her.

Is she deaf? I repeated what I said but she was just looking at my face.

What is her problem? Do I have dirt on my face?

Because of my frustration, I pulled the book to get out of her grip but unfortunately, her hands landed on my waist.

"U-Uh, I-I'm sorry." She apologized and step away from me.

Sorry your face! 

I gave her a dead glare before turning and walking away.

That stupid girl... doesn't she have a brain? She was always stunned by my face. I thought that was the end of the story but, I was wrong because she argued with me again... Hindi ba siya napapagod?

However, I still won because of her stupidity. Because... what the fuck is wrong with my face? Why is she always stunned?

I really thought my first teaching would be good, but I was wrong because that stupid girl, also known as 'Fabiana', was always teasing and annoying me.

All the right words similar to her nastiness suit her personality.

"You look professional now, attorney." She mumbled unconsciously as she was stunned by me again!

She was always doing that... that's why, I always check my face in the mirror if something was wrong.

"Did I look unprofessional yesterday?"

"No. I just didn't expect that you are an attorney because the first time I saw you, you looked like a spoiled brat bi—"

"What... did you say?"

Did I hear that right? She said that I'm... I immediately glared at her, on the other hand, her eyes widened and her face showed fear.

Darn this girl!

It's the first time I've heard someone call me that! I knew that I am a brat but... who the hell was she to say that to me!?

She was just one of my students so, it's disrespectful to say that!
