I felt all the moments in my life flash before my eyes. Most were bad, revolving around the stench of death and stains of blood. There were barely any good ones and those were a long time ago. Nonetheless, I still have a long life ahead of me so, all I have to do once I get there is run. Run as fast as my legs could take me.

I was bracing myself for the impact and closed my eyes shut. Suddenly, I felt someone grab my waist from behind. "Glad I caught you love" a British-accented man whispered behind my ear. I slowly lifted my eyelids and turned around.

"William...?"

"Yes, darling?" He tilted his head. My legs started to wobble but William was still holding my waist. I felt my heart drop and my body got weak instantly, muttering "Am I alive...?"

"You're very much alive" He answered in a calm manner, "Falling into the ball pit doesn't kill you, love".

"But beyond the pit can..."

"What do you mean?"

"Nevermind that... thanks for catching me" I replied and composed myself. I noticed the children looking at William with confusion mixed with a bit of nervousness and fright. Totally understandable. Then, one of the kids playing from the ball pit approached us.

"Are you gonna kiss?"

....

What?

I raised my eyebrow in confusion and as for William, he kept his serious expression but his cheeks were tinted red. There is literally nothing worth blushing about, and I'm not thinking this way because I'm dense as hell. Romance is not my forte but I'm sure I can tell the difference between advances and just pure annoyance. There's no way William's growing a crush on me.

"What makes you say that?" he asked the little girl with curious eyes, pressing the topic further. Dude, why?

"My daddy likes to hug mommy!" the girl replied with a giddy tone, jumping around. William, however, gave me the most mischievous smirk.

"Don't even think about it" I furrowed my eyebrows and stepped back but William didn't let go of me. I took his hands off my waist with a light pinch on his skin and walked away with my hands on the temples of my head, now getting an abrupt migraine.

"Noah, where are you?!" I shouted.

"(Y/N!)" I heard Noah's excited voice from my left and was now running toward me. Fortunately, he still has his Foxy plush and he hugged my leg, squishing the plush in between.

I knelt down and said, "I've been looking for you"

"Sorry! I just saw a friend outside" Noah smiled, and then hugged my leg again, so I sighed and ruffled his hair. Some kids can be cute, and this is one of 'em. I still have little warmth in my heart, despite my cruel actions as regards humanity and I think that's the thing that kept me sane all these years. Well, at least a little sane.

"Please don't give me a heart attack"

"Hehe, I won't"

Noah held my hand and we walked back into the main party room. The party room was already full of children and families. On stage was a yellow and slightly bigger version of the brown bear animatronic. The previous 3 animatronics were out of sight, probably hidden in one of the rooms.
