Henry's question caught me off guard, and my mouth just went wide for seconds. With that said, I closed my mouth and composed myself, putting my hands on my lap instead of my head. Henry glared into my eyes with worry, and I expected him to be at least a little bit mad for my deception. I disappeared without a word after all. And now, I'm sitting in front of him, all dressed up so no one can recognize me...

"Neil told you.... didn't he?" I muttered, shrinking.

"Yeah..." he said and sat beside me. "I'm sure you have your reasons that led you to become like this, and if you're not comfortable talking about it, then I won't force it out of you. I just want to see how you're doing... especially after Clara's speech."

I shivered at his kindness, and it moved my heart a little. Henry's been nothing but good to me, always treated me with utmost care even if he barely knew anything. I felt bad hiding all these secrets from the man whom I viewed as a father figure. Maybe this is just what I need.

"One word; shit," I began to laugh, holding up my finger. "But... *sigh*... I got out because I didn't want to listen to it any further, or else I would've done something. Getting humiliated isn't exactly on my plans for today..."

"Clara went too far, and she didn't bother to hide that she has it out for you," Henry replied as he ran comfy back rubs. "None of it was funny. Ness was already at her breaking point earlier, thank goodness Luis was there to hold her back."

"I can imagine her trying to claw her face while her man's just there," I got a laugh from the man. "You guys handled stuff well."

"Oh trust me, we didn't," he signaled a half-shrug. "We were a giant mess. There was one kid who kept asking about you, but all we could tell him was you needed to go back to your hometown."

"You never left, didn't you...?" he asked.

"Never did," I shook my head, and mentally prepared myself for what I'm about to say next. I told him that my presence alone caused a fuss. Coming back as a completely different person was the conclusion I arrived at. It was a big 'what-if' I wasn't there with them, and I got my answer.

I couldn't tell Henry the main reason why I went missing, a.k.a. being stabbed and confined in a hospital. That perpetrator waited for me to step in and interfere, even though I was the original target. I don't know how Clara managed to find and pay someone like that, but that just shows how her angelic personality is complete bullshit. I couldn't add that part to the conversation either, I'll let Henry decide how he views her. My opinion doesn't matter now.

Henry knew I wasn't okay, despite this smile I plastered on my face. Thus, he scooted over and gently leaned my head on against his shoulder, patting my own as well. So let me tell you something, I'm holding back tears right now. Maybe he could sense that there's a lot more than what I'm letting on. It's almost the same as William's case, yet differs in one factor; the people we're doing it for.
