Clara left the second floor and headed downstairs. I closed my door and brought out the clothes that Clara had given to me. They were mostly bright colors, which wasn't my usual style but I was grateful anyway.
I opened my phone and started scrolling through my playlist. After choosing the song, I unplugged my earphones and let my speakers play at a medium volume.
🎶 Take on me (take on me)
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day or twoIt seemed that traveling back to 1987 had affected the music I've been playing. It just felt... fitting in my opinion. Back in the present, I usually listened to 2000s songs. While "Take on Me" was playing, I tried matching the clothes to one another to finally change. It took me a while to decide what top to wear. Ah well, girls being girls.
I took off my white blood-stained polo and unwrapped my old bandages. Before putting on new clothing, I rinsed my wound and cleaned it with soap from the bathroom. Afterward, I wrapped it with a new bandage, then I wore a red turtleneck with long sleeves, paired with black straight pants and black combat boots. It somehow reminded me of my favorite jacket.
Right, William has it...
I'll try to ask if I can get it todayDeep down, I didn't want to go back to the pizzeria, I wanted to see my mom. I wasn't sure where she was because mom couldn't tell me much about her childhood. From my memories, she always mentioned Salt Lake City where she lived with my grandmother for years, then eventually moved out when she had me. Don't even ask about my father because I haven't gotten the slightest clue about him, only the part where he left us.
Salt Lake City is less than 300 miles away from Hurricane. If I do go to Salt Lake and mom isn't even there, then what do I do?
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the police sirens getting closer. I sure did take my time in picking an outfit.
I immediately packed my items into my bag and placed the clothes back into the brown paper bag but I took the extra bag for easier luggage. Before leaving, I checked my room if I had already gotten all my stuff, especially my phone and my plushie, then I exit the motel room and headed downstairs. While walking, I felt my stomach grumble once again.
There should be a convenience store around here somewhere but I need to remember where the pizzeria was again
Do I still have time to even go find one?
I quietly opened my bag and peeked at the time on my phone.
9:27 AM... but I need to be there by 9:30 AM
I sighed and made my way toward the pizzeria instead with hunger on my mind.

I stood before the wooden doors of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. My heart felt heavy and my inner thoughts kept telling me to run away. I shook my head and entered the restaurant.
"(Y/N)! Good Morning! You look good!" The first person I saw was Henry holding a... red radio?
"Good morning to you too, Henry. Thanks for the compliment," I smiled. "I hope I wasn't late..."
"Not at all, Will was just exaggerating about the 9:30 schedule because he always arrives 1 hour early-"
"Ah, speak of the devil"I turned to my left to see William exit his office with a disgruntled face and even messier hair than yesterday. He was gripping onto a sizeable blue paper that seemed to resemble a blueprint. He was whispering something but I was able to understand it from a few meters away.
