"(Y/N) kiddo, your noodles are getting cold"
Henry's faint voice grew clearer. I have no clue what time it is right now, but from what I could hear, the bad weather seems to have lightened up. With shut eyes, I pushed myself up and rubbed the temples of my head, experiencing the weird headache again. A soft fur-like texture covered my lower half, and figured it was a blanket; a fluffy one.
"Ugh... how long was I out?" I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. In front of me was the cup noodles I saw earlier, now with steam coming out of the top and it smells damn delicious.
"Just 2 hours, people tend to sleep longer after a good cry." Henry gave me a white ceramic mug with warm chocolate inside. The marshmallows were shaped like yellow bears with smiley faces, and I couldn't help but smile. I wanted to take a picture of it because of how adorable it is.
"Oh right, Will called a few minutes ago. He's worried and may or may not be starting to feel lonely without you" The man chuckled with his arms crossed and head hung low. "Jokes aside, he really likes you."
"That's what I've been hearing" I laughed and slurped the noodles.
"That's because it's rare for Will to fancy anyone really, even I'm surprised by the turn of events"
Both of us enjoyed our evening snack while watching a romcom-sitcom on the television. When Henry left for the bathroom, I quickly took a snap of my untouched beverage and the interior of the house to add to my not-so-insane album. Although I believe a good cry is equal to good sleep, getting this much isn't normal for me. It's like I'm mentally and physically exhausted, the things I do every day aren't even that tiring.
"WAAH!" I almost jumped from my seat when I heard the yellow telephone near the couch ring. Henry was still upstairs, and it didn't seem like he was coming down sooner so I walked towards the hall table to answer.
I lifted the phone from its dock and put the speaker to my ear, not muttering anything unless whoever called spoke first. "Henry. It's nearly 9 PM, is she alright? Or do I have to go there myself?" A British-accented man started, sounding somewhat agitated.
A small breath of relief escaped my lips, knowing it was someone I'm familiar with. "Yeah yeah, I'm fine," I said. "And no, you don't need to pick me up. I already know my way back." My other hand was holding the chocolate drink so I can take a sip whenever I want to.
"Darling!" William happily exclaimed over the phone that I moved my head a little further away from the speaker. Not going to lie, I beamed like an idiot hearing that nickname. "It's a relief to hear from you. I was beginning to doubt Henry and head there just to get you"
"When you put it that way, it's like I'm trapped"
"You aren't?"
"Pfft- No, I slept for 2 hours. Not sure for what reason yet"
"Exhaustion perhaps?"
"Hm... Maybe. It was a good nap though, despite the cold"
"Do you want me to hold you tightly once you get back?"
"Even if I said no, you'd do it anyway."
"That's right"
"Since you're always wanting to hug the air out of me, why don't you do the same thing to Mike? He's your kid"
"Michael's a different case"
"Oh please, stop making it sound like you don't love him"
"I don't"
"....."
".........."
"I'm not going back"
"I'm kidding, love. Us getting along is just near impossible"
