I blinked multiple times, rethinking my decision. I fiddled around with my hands while looking at my boots. William's terribly persistent about this and it sends a wave of chills down my spine. Just how determined is this guy to kill me?
"Am I even qualified?"
"Of course you are. You can start by tomorrow" William flashed a toothy grin. "The pizzeria opens at 10:00 AM but I expect you to be here by 9:30, remember that darling"
Wait wait wait, I already have a schedule? I don't even know what position I'm applying for.
Henry stepped forward and approached William. I could tell that William's sudden decision surprised Henry. "Hold on, hold on, this is too sudden. "What is (Y/N) even applying for?"
Good question Henry
"She can help me fix the animatronics, especially Foxy. He's been violent lately" William answered right away. That violent fox is already a large waving red flag.
Foxy? I don't see a fox on the stage though.
How do you even fix these things...?
I looked around the pizzeria, searching for a fox animatronic. Then, I noticed a purple curtain with white stars as a design at the corner of the room. I figured he must be behind the drapes.
"Are you sure you want to work here? I'm not forcing you to.." Henry asked in a sad tone, a bit contradicting his previous statements. I'm sure my money will run out soon because I don't have much and there's no guarantee that I can even get a job around here, other than this restaurant.
The only problem here is the paperwork...
"There's no need to formally submit an application form, love" William spoke as if he read my mind and Henry sighed at his remark. There is no getting out of this.
"What's your decision (Y/N)...?"
I'll probably regret this later...
"*sigh* I accept the offer"
"I'm glad to hear that" William smiled.
"But, you can start whenever you want. As long as you're okay" Henry lightly patted my shoulder where my wound was. Henry is so sweet and caring, what a good dad. "Ah, it's already 9:30 PM, we need to close the pizzeria now"
"Alright, thanks for the job opportunity and... thank you William for helping me with this" I replied with a small smile on my face and pointed at my arm.
"Of course love, I'll be sure to return your jacket tomorrow"
There's no point in arguing with William, that's for sure
I exited the pizzeria and waved goodbye to William and Henry. The streets barely had people and most of the restaurants and shops were closed. I started to wander around, looking for a hotel.

While wandering around aimlessly, I noticed a bright yellow sign from far away. I tried to read the sign and saw the word "Motel".
Aren't I just lucky?
I started to walk in the motel's direction. Lights from the shops were turned off and the only thing guiding me was the flickering street lamps. While walking, I could feel a presence near me and I wasn't sure which direction it was. I began to walk faster and the sound of footsteps became louder from behind me.
I take it back.
I abruptly stop my tracks and immediately turned around. I saw a male figure stumble back and hid behind the shop pillars. I pull out the hidden knife on my boot and also hid behind a pillar. I heard footsteps, stepped out of the shadows, and saw a silhouette, slowly approaching.
