"Where were you guys?" Akenon asked as she, Ishikawa, Yoshikawa, and Hori walked up to Megumi and Miyamura. "Oh, we didn't make it in time.." Miyamura chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck.  "Sorry that we didn't get to watch the fireworks with you guys." he apologised as himself and Megumi bowed in apology. "O-oh! No need to apologise! We were just wondering where you two went." Yoshikawa smiled and tilted her head. "Well, do any of you want to go anywhere before we head back to the hotel?" Megumi asked as she fixed her hair. "I have an idea in mind.." Akenon smirked as Megumi pinched the bridge of her nose. 

"OOH! I love karaoke!" Yoshikawa yelled as they walked into their room. "I'm gonna buy some snacks." Ishikawa said as he headed out the door. "Sooo... WHO WANTS TO GO FIRST?!" Akenon yelled as no one put their hand up. "I guess I'll go!" Hori put her hand up. "Oh, if you don't want to Hori-san, that's okay. I can go!" Miyamura asked as he put his hand up. "Well.. I don't want to choose one.. Wait! You can sing a duet!!" Akenon suggested as she handed a mic each to Hori and Miyamura. "Hey guys, what did I miss?" Ishikawa asked as he came back in with an armful of snacks. "Miyamura-san and Hori are going first!!" Yoshikawa said as she grabbed a packet of chips from Ishikawa. "Ishikawa, do you mind if I get a milk tea from your stash? You seem to have a fair amount of them." Megumi asked as she approached Ishikawa. "Well, thats okay! At least someone asks." Ishikawa glared at Yoshikawa sternly as Yoshikawa chuckled awkwardly. 

"Do you guys know the song Suki Kirai? It's a cute duet!!" Yoshikawa pointed to the screen when she saw it. "N-no! It's an embarrassing song to sing.." Hori covered her face. "Come on, it's the only good duet available!" Ishikawa put an arm around Hori. "Fine.. I guess it's okay." Hori nodded as she grabbed her mic. "Are you ready, Hori-San?" Miyamura asked with a smile on his face. "Yeah.. sure." Hori replied as the song started playing. And just like that, Hori and Miyamura were singing together. They had good voices that matched the harmony and tone of the song. Megumi drank her boba while watching them and they looked like they were having fun. She was glad that Miyamura was making friends, and smiled to herself.  A small part of her wanted to be singing a duet with him too like Hori was, but she didn't notice it was there. After the song ended, Miyamura and Hori burst into laughter. "I didn't know you could sing, Hori-san!" Miyamura put down his mic. "I should be telling you the same thing, dannasan." Hori winked as Miyamura blushed a bit and looked away. 'Dannasan?" Megumi thought in her head as she squinted her eyes in suspicion. (Btw, "dannasan" means "hubby" in Japanese). "I'm just joking!... dannasan." Hori teased him as Miyamura grabbed a soda. "H-H-Hori-san, stop it p-please.." Miyamura fake cried as his face had a little bit of blush on it. Megumi just sat there, not knowing what to do, feeling quite uncomfortable in that situation. "You really are a flirt, Hori!" Akenon and Yoshikawa laughed as Miyamura drank his soda nervously, his skin as white as a ghost. 

"Okay! Whose next?" Yoshikawa grabbed the mic, ready to hand it to somebody. "I can go, since no one seems to want to." Megumi sighed as she grabbed the mic, her braid moving side to side as she took a step, which was unusual since her braid is usually neatly put on top of her right shoulder. "Something's bothering her..." Akenon noticed. Akenon noticed every little bit of Megumi, they were best friends after all. And if her braid wasn't in place, something was wrong.

Akenon's rules of Shinon-chan!! (Story break) - Akenon POV

Before we continue the story, there is rule no.1 about Shinon-chan! If her braid isn't in place on her right shoulder,  then something is bothering her or making her nervous and upset. Even though no one seems to notice, I always do!
