When Megumi was taken to the hospital, they had to do some emergency surgeries immediately. The stab was pretty deep, and almost the whole pocket knife was shoved into Megumi's stomach. "Let me see her!" Miyamura yelled at a doctor who was trying to restrain him. "Unless you are family, you must stay in the waiting room." The doctor clarified as Miyamura sighed heavily and gave up trying to get through.

Suddenly, Megumi's whole family came rushing in. Megumi's father ran past Miyamura and put his hands on the doctor's shoulders. "Where's Megumi? Where's my Akachan?!" He yelled (Akachan means baby or kid). "Are you family?" The doctor asked as all the brothers came up to them. "We're her family all right!? Now let us see her!" Touma yelled as the doctor directed them to Megumi's room.

Megumi was tied to a breathing tube with bandages along her stomach and neck. Her mother started crying seeing her daughter like that, and her father turned both devastated and furious. "Who did this to my Akachan? I want them arrested immediately!" Their father boomed at the doctors as Miyamura watched sadly from outside as Megumi's father kept yelling at the doctors. All Miyamura was looking at was Megumi's unconscious body, and how much he wanted her to live. He found tears rolling down his face as he observed Megumi through the open door. "If she dies, it's all my fault. I tried to protect her but she ended up protecting me." Miyamura thought as he clenched his fists and shut his eyes, his head facing the floor.

"Shinon-sama!" Akenon yelled with tears in her eyes as she ran up to a doctor and grabbed him by his collar (by the way I changed it from 'Shinon-chan' to 'Shinon-sama'). "Where is Shinon-sama?" Akenon exclaimed with tears jumping out of her eyes. "People who are not family can't see her right now, but tomorrow visiting hours will be available." The doctor told Akenon as she broke down, kneeling on the floor with her hands on her face, catching her tears. "If I lose Shinon-sama, I will blame it all on you!" Akenon looked straight at the doctor who looked ashamed. "Screw all of you.." Akenon stood up and whispered in pain while tears dropped from her eyes. Miyamura took a deep breath and sat down in one of the waiting chairs, his hair covering his face because he was crying. Akenon sat two chairs away from him and wiped her eyes. "I miss Shinon-sama too..." she sniffed as Miyamura stayed silent.

Megumi's family stayed at her bedside until about 12 at night. Then they all left including Akenon, leaving some books for Megumi to read when she wakes up. At 12, it was officially the next day. "Can I see Megumi now?" Miyamura said, full of determination and energy. "Well... it is technically the next day... so fine. But don't disturb her sleep." The doctor let it slide as Miyamura ran inside Megumi's hospital room. The sight of her laying down in a hospital bed, her eyes closed and her chest rising up and down from her breathing hurt Miyamura. He sat at Megumi's bedside, and clenched his fists which were on his lap, and tears fell down onto is hands. "I wasn't able to protect you, I should've been there for you.. Because people should always protect the ones they love. I had to make you happy, and I failed at that too..." Miyamura blamed himself as tears escaped his eyes, when he suddenly felt a warm and soft hand on top of his fist. It was Megumi. Miyamura's hands rested and he looked at Megumi, and saw her smiling at him warmly. She was awake. "Stop blaming yourself, idiot." Megumi told him, still sounding a bit weak as she held Miyamura's hand tighter. His eyes were a visible sign he was in pain. She grabbed his shoulders and pulled him into a hug, where he cried into her chest as she stroked his hair. "You have made me happy. More than anything." Megumi held him closer to her as his tears stained her hospital gown.

Miyamura fell asleep in Megumi's hospital bed with her, his head on her shoulder. Megumi then woke up to Akenon looking teary-eyed, looking at her. "Oh Shinon-sama! I'm so glad you're okay!" Akenon pushed Miyamura off the bed, which caused him to wake up in a quite unpleasant way and crawled over next to Megumi. "Thank you, Akenon. I'm fine, I just need a few more days of recovery. Also, are you okay, Miyamura?" Megumi tilted her head to look at Miyamura who was getting off the ground. Miyamura replied with a drowsy nod as he walked to the other side of Megumi's hospital bed sleepily, and layed down, pulling her head into his chest which made her blush. "It's getting squishy..." Akenon complained as she hopped off the bed. "A-Akenon... get Miyamura off me.." Megumi whispered while red, trying not to wake up Miyamura who was sort of using Megumi as a snuggly toy. "I don't think you want him to get off you." Akenon chuckled as she left Megumi's hospital room to give them privacy. Megumi was blushing the whole entire time, her eyes wide. "Oh my goodness. My head is on Miyamura's chest. He's so warm... no, I'm being stupid!" Megumi shut out her thoughts as she gave in.

When Miyamura woke up, he didn't remember himself hugging onto Megumi because he was too tired to do so. So when he woke up with Megumi laying on his chest, his face surged into a deep red. "She's so close to me... I can feel her warm breath... Gosh, she looks so cute when she's sleeping." Miyamura blushed all over as Megumi woke up, but he didn't noticed because he was overthinking. "You're the one who started hugging me, idiot." Megumi said in a tsundere tone looking up at him while still clinging to Miyamura as he flinched and blushed even more. "Well, I better stop sleeping around," Megumi sat up and got a book from her bedside. "I might as well read." She brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ears as Miyamura was slightly disappointed that they weren't hugging anymore. He found himself staring at her, and Megumi noticed straight away. "Don't look at me like that, it makes me feel uneasy.." Megumi blushed a bit as she used the book to over her face. "I-I...! Sorry!" Miyamura quickly turned away, blushing from Megumi's cuteness. Even though they were together for a while before breaking up, they always act flustered around each other.

"I really have to hand over Shinon-sama to Miyamura, don't I?" Akenon complained as she took a bite of her takoyaki that she got in the hospital cafeteria, where she was sitting. "Shinon-sama would be a great boyfriend for me! Of course Ishikawa works too I guess..." Akenon sulked as she rested her cheek on her hand. "I wish Shinon-sama was my boyfriend! Oh the dream... Shinon-sama should only be mine! Screw Miyamura!" Akenon yelled out which caused lots of people to turn their heads. "Miyamura thinks I actually accept him being with Shinon-sama," Akenon clenched her fists at the thought of Miyamura. "I will do everything in my power to make Shinon-sama see that Miyamura is the bag of trash he truly is! Shinon-sama is too good for a peice of garbage like Miyamura!" Akenon looked determined as she fantasised about Megumi. "She would be a great match for me! My dream boyfriend is indeed Shinon-sama! Too bad I have to settle for Ishikawa... b-but I like him too! But I love Shinon-sama! When she chooses me, we can run a cat maid cafe together and cosplay! So cute!" Akenon put her head in the clouds and rested her head against the table.

In the hospital room, Miyamura was preparing some tea for Megumi. "Thank you for taking care of me, Miyamura-san. I appreciate it." Megumi smiled as she took the tea, making Miyamura blush a bit. "O-oh... no problem!" Miyamura rubbed the back of his neck has he chuckled. "I'm glad," Megumi looked straight at Miyamura who was blushing. "That we are having fun together again." Megumi gave Miyamura a warm, closer eye smile which made his heart to cartwheels. Miyamura's face turned into a tomato as he gazed into Megumi's deep, mysterious eyes. He really did love her.
