Flashback
(Note: Megumi is nine years old and Touma is thirteen)

"Toukkun!" Megumi ran up to her angry big brother, Touma, and hugged him earnestly as he was surprised but used to the sudden contact. At that age, Touma had always been the one to pick up Megumi from school. Her parents were always too busy, Kiyoshi was too young to go and pick her up, and Toshiro and Yamato were too busy with their extracurricular activities. Touma smiled and put an arm around his sweet sister, secretly listening to the girls in Megumi's school whispering and talking about his sister behind her back.

"She's such a priss, I bet she's never worked a day in her life."

"Takeshita really thinks that just because she's pretty and smart, she can get away with anything."

"Look at her sucking up to her brother."

Touma grit his teeth, trying not to think of the people insulting his sister. "I got top in my class today, Toukkun!" Megumi smiled brightly at her brother as he patted her soft head. "Good job, nee-san!" Touma held her shoulder as her aura radiated sunlight. Even though Touma was Megumi's big brother, Megumi told him to call her 'nee-san' because she wanted to always take care and protect her big brother.

"Ew. She really thinks she played fair? Takeshita's only top of class because she probably bribed the principal."

"Right? She thinks she's better than everybody. What a stuck up princess."

Two of the girls behind them giggled, as Touma noticed Megumi's face droop from a smile to a frown, and he saw her looking at the girls, then averting her gaze. Megumi looked like she was trying her hardest to prison her tears in her eyes as she looked down at the floor, patting down her skirt to distract herself. Touma then turned back, and stomped up to the girls which rattled everyone around them and terrifying the two with his older brother glare. The girls shuffled back a bit, not wanting to get too close to the fiery hot boy. "Listen here, you worthless pieces of garbage! Never talk about my nee-san like that again, unless you want me to beat you up for real!" His intimidating and burning shadow covered both of them as both of the girls' lips quivered and they both burst into tears and ran away.

He walked back to Megumi in victory, shoving his both his hands into his pockets and sighing. "Don't listen to them." Touma lifted his hand from his pocket and placed it on top of his sister's head, coming into contact with her soft blue hair, similar to his. Megumi looked up at her brother in awe. "Toukkun is so cool!" The little girl thought in her head as her eyes lit up and she smiled at her brother, her face all squishy and cute. "When I grow up, I want to marry you, Toukkun!" Megumi said, not understanding the concept of marriage just yet as Touma smiled warmly at her, going along with her shenanigans. "You better grow up soon then."

His sister was his most prized possession, and even though they subtly drifted apart over the years, Touma was always there, supporting her from the sidelines. When Megumi saw Chitose and Miyamura at the train station? Touma was there. When she ate at the cafe with Akenon and Miyamura? Touma was there. The truth is, he always was with Megumi. She was his beloved little sister, after all. And her was not ready to let her go.

When Miyamura and Megumi arrived at the office, Miyamura's eyes widened. The office was more than just an office. It was a literal skyscraper. Megumi smiled and led him to a red carpet that entered into the office, and the entrance was guarded by two tough looking guards in black suits. Megumi nodded at them both as a silent way of saying hello, with Miyamura trailing behind her. Suddenly, the guards moved to stand right next to each other, their bodies so big that it blocked the entrance, making Miyamura unable to get though. A sweat dropped from Miyamura's forehead as Megumi pushed her way through the two guards. "Tomostu, Mamoru, he's with me." Megumi said sternly as the two guards obeyed the young girl, and she held Miyamura's hand to lead him inside.

It was an intimidating walk for Miyamura, with sophisticated and rich looking business people and stressed employees running about. When the two got into the elevator, Miyamura fiddled with his sleeve, feeling nervous. Megumi then cut off his actions by gently caressing his hand, causing him to calm down to her touch. He smiled, knowing that she was there with him. When the elevator door opened after a while, they were met with a long corridor full of prideful men and women, and a couple of children or two. As soon as they stepped out they all averted their gaze to the two, and seemed to be carefully examining their very move. Miyamura knew from first sight that they were the Takeshitas.

All of the Takeshitas were looked attractive and sophisticated, and even their wives looked like they were picked from the best of the best. Suddenly, a kind looking man with a serious smell of aftershave and hair gel (obviously one of Megumi's uncles) came walking toward them. "Jinchi." Megumi whispered into Miyamura's ear as some sort of warning. Miyamura was confused at first, but then he went wide eyed and remembered what she had said about him.
.....
"On the outside my uncle Jinchi is kind and humble, but on the inside he is cold and conceited. Don't be fooled by him."
.....
"Why hello! You must be Megumi-chan's husband, right?" Jinchi smiled, holding his hand out for Miyamura to shake it. Megumi put on a stone cold face, her arm linking with Miyamura's. "O-oh no, we are still only in a relationship, but I intend to marry her very soon." Miyamura smiled back, making sure not to fall for Jinchi's tricks as Megumi blushed a little and looked away. "That's a shame," without warning, another man came over to them with a sly smile, holding a glass of what seemed to be champagne. "This whole meeting is to discuss Megumi-chan's marriage." He sneered, leaving both Megumi and Miyamura awestruck. Megumi's eyebrows furrowed and she led Miyamura away, pushing past her uncles.

"Kaito, you were supposed to get Megumi to soften up so it will be easier for us to get her to go through with the marriage." Jinchi rolled his eyes, adjusting his tie. Kaito, the uncle that Megumi most despised, scoffed. "It's not like we need to butter her up. We can get that girl married either way, it's not her choice." Then, a familiar boy wearing a grey suit and carefully combed hair walked up to them unexpectedly while Kaito put his hand on the young boy's shoulder. "This is Itsuki Sora. The boy Megumi-chan is going to marry."
