It was Saturday morning, the weather was great, and the sunshine flooded Megumi's room when she woke up. "Good morning, imotocchan." Megumi's older brother, Yamato, walked in with some coffee. "I got one for you." He said as he handed her a mug. "Thanks, oniichan." Megumi thanked her older brother as she took the mug and took a sip. Megumi only calls her eldest brother 'oniichan' because it would get confusing calling four people the same thing (imotocchan means 'little sister' and oniichan means 'older brother' btw).

"I'll be down for breakfast in a minute." Megumi told Yamato as he left the room and nodded. Megumi brushed her hair, took a shower, and brushed her teeth before going downstairs to see her four older brothers, her mom, and her dad sitting at the table eating breakfast. "Good morning, Ottosan, Okaasan." Megumi said as she kissed both of them on the cheek. "Good morning, Akachan." Her father replied (akachan means kid/baby). "Ottosan, I'm not a baby anymore." Megumi chuckled as she took her seat. "How come no good morning for me?" Touma teased. "Good morning, Toukkun." Megumi groaned as she rolled her eyes. "And Toshikkun, Kiyokkun, and Onicchan." Megumi added in all her brothers as they all replied in unison, "Good morning imotocchan!"

"Toshiro, give me the syrup." Touma demanded as he reached over to the syrup. "Ah ah! Respect your elders." Toshiro replied, putting the syrup out of his reach. "What do you mean elders? You're literally a year and a half older than me, you idiot." Touma said, irritated. "Toshiro! Respect your little brother before you go around telling him to respect you." Their mother snapped at Toshiro and Touma sniggered. "You too, Touma! I did not raise you to treat your brothers like slaves, have some manners! Do you both understand me?" Their mom raised an eyebrow at the two. "Yes, Okaasan.." they replied.

Suddenly, Megumi's phone started ringing at the table. "Whose phone is that? Whose ever it is shut it off!" Their dad yelled. "Sorry, Ottosan. It's mine." Megumi checked her phone. "Oh! In that case, Akachan. You may be excused." Their dad smiled at Megumi as she got up from her table and went up to her room to answer. "If that was one of us we'd be dead." Touma added as he scoffed. "Touma! Eat your food now, no comments." Their mother snapped once more.

Megumi looked at her phone and saw the call was from Miyamura and answered. "Hey, Miyamura-kun."  She said. "Good morning, Takeshita." Miyamura greeted over the phone. "Would you mind if you came over today to my house?" Miyamura asked. "I don't think I'm allowed today..Hm.." Megumi answered as she tried to hint of an alternative. "Why don't you come over to my place instead?" She suggested. "Okay cool! As long as we get to hang out." Miyamura said which made Megumi blush a bit. "You can come by at ten." Megumi told him happily. "Sure! See you then." Miyamura replied. "See you." Megumi hung up as she went back down the stairs. "Guys, I have a friend coming over in an hour. Just letting you know." She informed them as she sat back into her seat. "Oh Akachan, I would love to meet them but I have a meeting and I have to leave soon." Her dad replied as he got his briefcase and fixed up his tie. "That's okay, Ottosan." Megumi told him as he kissed her forehead. "Bye dad! Have a great day, I love you!" She called to him as she opened the front door. "Love you too, Akachan!" He said back as the door closed. "Guys," Kiyoshi took a bite of his pancake. "I'm starting to think Ottosan has a favourite." He said as his mother glared at him. "You're just starting to think so?" Touma scoffed. "Well, she's my favourite too I guess. All you people are weird." Yamato said as he drank some of his orange juice. "Yamato!" His mother's glare turned to him. "Okay, I'm sorry." Yamato put his plate into the sink.

Soon it was ten, and the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" Megumi called across the house as she opened the door, and there was Miyamura. He was taking in how huge her house was. "Hello, Miyamura-kun!" Megumi smiled as Miyamura smiled back. "Come in!" She said as she guided him to her room. "Do you wanna play some video games?" She asked as she showed him her array of Nintendo switch games. "Sure! I dibs Mario kart." He said as he grabbed the game off the shelf. "Oh, I'm amazing at Mario kart. You chose the right one." Megumi chuckled as she gave Miyamura a controller. Suddenly, the door burst open. "Are you guys playing Mario kart?" Kiyoshi gasped. "Yeah! Wanna join?" Megumi asked as Miyamura smiled. "For sure! I can verse your friend here." Kiyoshi laughed awkwardly as he sat on Megumi's bed, reading manga while he wait for his turn. The door flung open. Again. This time it was Touma and Toshiro. "Who is this??" They both said in unison as Miyamura and Megumi looked at them. "Oh! This is my friend, Miyamura-kun. Be nice." She glared at the two. "Yeah, I'm just gonna try and get to know him better." Touma replied as he sat between Miyamura and Megumi. "So.. Miyamura-san. How old are you?" He looked at him suspiciously. "I'm in my last year of high school, like your sister-." Miyamura was interrupted when Toshiro starting asking questions. "Do you get good grades? What do you feel about math?" He asked. "Yo idiot, I'm asking the questions." Touma pushed Toshiro. "Do you have a girlfriend? Any siblings perhaps?" Touma squinted his eyes. "What's your iq?" Toshiro managed to squeeze himself back in.

"TOSHIRO AND TOUMA! Can you both please shut up and let me have some quality time with my friend." She told them with a stern look on her face. "Damn, she stopped using our nicknames." The two brothers thought. "Fine. But this isn't the last you'll see of me, Miyamura Izumi." Touma glared at him. "Me neither." Toshiro did the same. "Wait, how did they know my full name?" Miyamura raised an eyebrow. As all three of the brothers, Kiyoshi, Touma, and Toshiro walked out of the room as Kiyoshi silently gave them a thumbs up.

In the middle of playing Mario kart, Miyamura was currently winning, which would break Megumi's perfect win streak, until she devised an evil plan. "Miyamura, what's that?" She pointed the opposite direction as he was gullible enough to look. And when he was distracted, Megumi started tickling him. Miyamura burst into laughter as he let go of his controller. He was laughing so much he could barely make out any words. "No one beats me in Mario kart!" She yelled as she crossed the finish line. "Yessss!!" She cheered herself as she was marked as first in the game. "No fair!" Miyamura pout as Megumi pat his head. "I'm sorry, Miyamura, but I had to keep my perfect streak." She laughed as Miyamura blushed a bit.

"Hey, Miyamura?" Megumi said as an idea came to her head. "Yeah, Takeshita?" Miyamura replied as he put the controllers away. "Do you wanna bake a cake?" She asked with a sparkle in her eye, smiling. "Why wouldn't I?" Miyamura chuckled as they walked to the kitchen. "First we need flour. Miyamura, grab the flour in the bottom right cupboard." Megumi told him as he got the flour and put it on the bench. This continued until they had all the ingredients in front of them, including a bowl, the cake tin, and two spatulas.

While adding the flour, a couple sprayed onto Miyamura's apron as he wiped it with his hands and put it on Megumi's. They both laughed uncontrollably as they got an egg each to crack. "If you get she'll in there I'm gonna put your face in the batter." Megumi laughed as she cracked her egg perfectly. "Hang on! I can crack an egg perfectly too." Miyamura said as he cracked the egg as well as Megumi did. "I'm impressed." She replied as they both chuckled.

Soon, after many setbacks and shenanigans, Miyamura and Megumi put their cake into the oven. "If I bite into the cake and egg shell gets into my mouth, I'm gonna choke you." Megumi laughed. "Didn't you see the way I cracked that egg? Absolutely flawless." Miyamura beamed.

To pass the time, Miyamura and Megumi binged some TV shows. "Are you team Cassie or team Maddie?" Megumi asked Miyamura as she handed him a chip. "Team Maddie for sure." Miyamura replied as he took the chip. "Me too." Megumi chuckled. After they they watched Brooklyn 99. "Man, I miss this show." Megumi bit her chip. "Right?" Miyamura said as they heard the oven alarm go off. The cake was finished. The two sprinted down the stairs and got the cake out of the oven. It smelt really good. They cut the chocolate cake and they both took a bite. "Delicious!!" They both complimented the cake. "We're amazing bakers." Megumi said as she took another bite of the cake. "You got that right." Miyamura replied as he did the same.
