"Thanks for taking me out today, Izumi," Megumi walked beside him as she sighed. "I really needed a break from.. well.. that." Megumi said as she slightly chuckled. "No problem. I on the the other hand need to be spoiling you more often." Miyamura rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "N-no! That's not it! I don't need you to spoil me, idiot!" Megumi yelled as she smacked the back of his head. "Just.. just.. promise to be there for me." She. Immediately softened up. "Promise." Miyamura said smiling as he grasped her hand.

Suddenly, they saw Yoshikawa walking in front of them, and they both walked over to say hello. "Yuki-san." Megumi said with no emotion as she waved her hand. "O-oh! Hello Miyamura and Shinon! O-oh! I'm sorry, since you called me Yuki, well.. It kind of slipped out.. I'm sorry!" Yoshikawa asked as she bowed in apology quickly. "It's okay. I called you Yuki-say after all." Megumi said in her monotone voice as Yuki's eyes lit up. "Oh thank you, thank you, Shinon! Well, I better get going... bye!!" Yuki yelled back as she ran past them.

"You act really different when you're around other people," Miyamura said as he looked at Megumi. "Why is that?" He asked as Megumi smacked the back of his head again. "Don't ask serious questions like that, idiot! This is supposed to be fun and not serious!" She scolded him. "Worth a shot." Miyamura said as he looked for a place for them to eat.

"Hey, I have an idea.." Miyamura said as he smiled at Megumi. "Yeah?" Megumi replied in curiosity. "Why don't we head over to my parent's bakery and eat there?" He suggested as Megumi's eyes lit up. "How am I hearing this just now? I love sweets!! Delicious, delicious, delicious!" Megumi put both her hands on her cheeks as she thought about the sweets. "Well, we better get going then." Miyamura laughed as he led Megumi to the bakery, which was about a ten minute walk from where they were.

"We're here!!" Megumi yelled as she dashed inside of the bakery. "Oh! Hello, Izumi and his friend!" The lady behind the counter seemed to be Miyamura's mother. "Hey, Okaasan. By the way, this is Megumi, she's actually my.. my girlfriend." Miyamura chuckled as his mother went up to Megumi and put her hands on her shoulders. "This is the Megumi you've always been talking about! My my, she's so pretty! I hope my son takes care of you, dear. If he is inconvenient in any way, just come to me, alright sweetie?" Miyamura's mom told Megumi as Megumi smiled and nodded. "Sure thing, Mrs Miyamura. But I doubt he'd cause any inconvenience to me. He takes care of me pretty well." Megumi's monotone voice was still in use. Miyamura's mother walked up to the counter and gave Megumi two manju in a paper bag. "Thank you for being with my son." Miyamura's mother smiled as Miyamura did the same. Megumi opened the bag and took a bite of a manju. "This is delicious! Thank you so much, Mrs Miyamura!" Megumi's monotone voice cracked as the happy side of her was revealed. "Glad you like it!" Miyamura's mom grinned as Miyamura and Megumi smiled and took a seat outside of the bakery.

"Your mom is amazing!" Megumi smiled from ear to ear as she took another bite of her manju. She reached into the paper bag and handed one to Miyamura. "Here you go!" She smiled as Miyamura gladly took the manju. "Thanks." He said as he took a bite. "Hey, Megumi?" Miyamura suddenly spoke up as Megumi took a break from eating her manju. "I wanted to tell you this one more time but..." Miyamura was blushing a bit and Megumi did the same. "I-.." Miyamura was about to say something when his mother interrupted.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything?" She smiled as Miyamura and Megumi quickly turned to her. "Not at all!" They both said as they saw the unfamiliar girl standing next to Miyamura's mother. She had pink hair tied up into a high side ponytail, with green eyes. She was really cute. "This is Nasegawa Chitose, she's been coming over to the bakery every day looking for you, Izumi! She's also the little girl that you used to be friends with in elementary and middle school, remember?" Miyamura's mother grinned as she brought the girl in front of her so Miyamura could see her better.
