[A/N: before i write the chapter, I just want to say sorry for all of the extraordinarily late updates. I haven't updated in over a month (I'm pretty sure) and one part is because I've been to Japan and The Philippines for a holiday, and the other part is just because Honkai Star Rail just came out. The second reason isn't really an excuse, so sorry for that. When this book first came out, I was updated every day, and sometimes updated twice a day. This is probably because chapters 13-30 or something were written around the time I had covid, so I was locked away in my house for two weeks. So basically all I'm saying is that I'm a naturally slow updater, and I only updated fast for a short period of time because I had covid. My apologies. I remember saying that I'd update more quicker, but I guess I didn't. I'm honestly jealous of writers who can update and write new plots easily. I've been experiencing writer's block for such a long time now that I might just end this book and go right into the spin-off. Anyways, on with the chapter and thank you for your understanding. By the way, character.ai is also a reason why I haven't been updating a lot. That website brings out the worst in me.]

"Megumi-chan, where do you want to do first? The Louvre, or the Eiffel Tower?" Miyamura asked, showing her a brochure of all of Paris' tourist attractions. "Hm... the Eiffel Tower looks more magical at night, so we could go to the Louvre first." Megumi smiled putting on her heels. Miyamura glanced over at Megumi's shiny black heels, and put his hand on her arm. "Hey... maybe you shouldn't wear those shoes," Miyamura reasoned as Megumi paused. "Why not?" Megumi tilted her head and looked at her heels. "We'll be walking a lot. I don't want your feet to hurt." Miyamura spoke, and Megumi listened. "If you think that, then I won't wear them." Megumi slid the heels off, but Miyamura stopped her mid-way. "No, it was only a suggestion. If you want to wear them, you can." Miyamura smiled. "Izumi, do you want me to wear them or not?" Megumi chuckled, straightening her back. "Well," Izumi was at loss for a second, but then he saw a pair of black shoes that had shorter heels and looked for comfortable to walk in by the door. "Those. That pair looks more comfortable." Miyamura pointed out, and Megumi went over to put them on.

Before leaving, Megumi made sure that herself and Miyamura looked as classy and fashionable as possible. ("This is Paris, anata. The city of fashion. And love. And good food. The point is, Paris is the city of a lot of things, and it is important to have a good image here. But, of course, I'd gladly walk around dressing like an absolute sociopath if I'm doing it with you."). When out in the streets of Paris, Miyamura and Megumi's first plan was so go to a cafe for breakfast. Megumi looked around her and noticed numerous French women ogling Miyamura, and Megumi quickly grasped his hand, which took Miyamura by a pleasant surprise.

"Megumi-chan?" Miyamura looked at their intertwined hands, and Megumi tried her best not to look at him. "Mm?" Megumi responded blankly. "We're holding hands," Miyamura pointed out the obvious, dashes of red appearing on his face. "Yes, indeed we are," Megumi nodded, looking down. "In public." Miyamura emphasised. "Yes, Izumi. We are holding hands. In public." Megumi held Miyamura's hand tighter, looking around to see if anyone was looking at him with those lovey-dovey eyes. "I thought you hated PDA," Miyamura raised an eyebrow. "You said that it was, 'impractical and unprofessional'." Miyamura repeated Megumi's words. "I did, but... but..." Megumi looked at the group of French women giggling and looking at Miyamura. Miyamura followed Megumi's eye line, and then saw them. "Oh, I see." Miyamura chuckled, and Megumi turned red. "It's nothing but a rational reaction. Women have reported higher levels of overall jealousy-." Megumi was about to go all statistical before Miyamura stopped her. "No, I completely understand. I was going to hold your hand anyway to show off your wedding ring to ward off all of those French guys looking at you right now." Miyamura gestured towards the French men stopping in their tracks to look at Megumi.

"Our baby will be gorgeous."  Megumi doted, imagining their future child in her mind . "Of course our baby will gorgeous. If they take after you, that is." Miyamura smiled, and Megumi laughed, and it was the kind of laugh that made Miyamura's heart light up. "Since when we're you a smooth talker?" Megumi said, putting a finger to her cheek. "I'm glad that you think that." Miyamura beamed, and Megumi couldn't help but laughing again.
