Four weeks later...

"Megumi-chan, you got into Harvard, right?" Inori sat next to Megumi on the couch, with a notebook and pen in hand. Megumi nodded slowly. "Well, I realised that I've never had a proper education. I went to high school as normal, then I took a few classes at community college, but after that I continued helping my mother out here. So now, I want to apply to a real university." Inori looked determined, clasping her pen. "That's great, nee-chan." Megumi smiled, sipping some of her coffee and listening intently. "Can you please share some tips with me to help get into a good university?" Inori asked, grasping all of her courage. "Of course I'll give you some tips." Megumi put her coffee down on a table before her father intruded. "If Megumi-chan didn't get in, then I would have donated Harvard a building and told them to reconsider. Good thing Megumi-chan saved me from all that hassle. She got in herself." Makoto added, drinking some of Megumi's coffee without warning as she gave him a fed up face. Then she focused back on Inori.

"Where to you want me to start?" Megumi asked as Inori timidly ruffled with her notebook. "Your grades and all that." Inori said, getting ready to write. "As you wish," Megumi took a deep breath. "I got a 5.0 GPA, 100 in AP calculus, 97 in AP biology, 100 in AP literature, 100 in liberal arts, 100 in AP creative arts, 100 in history, 100 in economic studies, 100 in legal studies, 99 in AP computer sciences, social studies, French, German, english, Mandarin, and drama. 1600 SAT score, 100% on overall midterms for last year of high school, and 99.9% in end of year exams." Megumi lectured, while Inori sat there, dumbfounded. "I had a 3.2 GPA in high school..." Inori trembled, looking defeated. "And how do you even take that much classes?" Inori looked down as a dark aura surrounded her. "You don't have to get those grades to-." Megumi tried to make her feel better, but Inori just ushered her to continue. "Okay... my extracurriculars included; piano classes, enrolling in an art academy, winning a national writing contest, model UN, student council president, participating in an internship at my father's and uncle's companies, community service, being CEO for a week-." Megumi was stopped right there. "CEO of Takeshita Publishing for a week? When was this?" Inori spluttered, trying to make sense of it all. "I don't want to talk about it." Megumi muttered, shivering at the flashbacks.

"Imotocchan!" Kiyoshi exclaimed, coming into the lounge room. "It's time to discuss the wedding. Miyamura-san is already here." Kiyoshi smiled as Megumi stood up in surprise. "Izumi is here? How come I didn't know?" Megumi asked. "Everyone's been smothering him. Sorry." Kiyoshi gave an awkward smile as Megumi said her goodbyes to Inori and went into the meeting room.

As soon as Megumi opened the door to the meeting room, Miyamura wrapped his arms around her, pressing his cheek to hers to both of their faces were squished. "Megumi-chan! Thank goodness." Miyamura playfully cried as Megumi looked at her family with a monotone face. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Touma complained, leaning back on his chair. "She's looking at all of us like that, idiot." Toshiro sighed, pushing Touma so he fell off his chair. Everyone ignored the crash. "Sorry, Megumi-chan. Me and Kiyoshi tried to stop them." Ai smiled at Miyamura, who timidly smiled back. "I won't ask what happened." Megumi sighed as she sat down on the meeting table with Miyamura next to her.

"So, who is planning the wedding?" Makoto asked, his arms crossed. "I initially wanted to plan it myself, because I want everything to go perfectly... but-." Megumi got interrupted by Yamato. "You let Hajishi-san plan the wedding, didn't you?" Yamato raised an eyebrow as Megumi sighed. "Akenon just seemed so excited about it. I couldn't tell her she wouldn't be the one planning it." Megumi ran her fingers through her short hair (Megumi cut it short again in the one week time skip, and Miyamura loved it). "That girl can't be trusted." Toshiro raised his index finger. "I can help Akeno-chan out." Ai proposed, smiling. "That would be great. I don't completely trust Hajishi either." Miyamura revealed, scanning the room to double check that Akenon wasn't stalking Megumi. "When will the wedding happen anyways?" Touma rubbed his head from the impact. "We're thinking about August." Megumi smiled. "That's a month away! Wait, even less! Are you sure?" Toshiro had a surprised reaction. "Yes, really. I hope we're not asking for too much." Miyamura chuckled. "We'll see it done." Makoto gave a tiny smile, which was unusual, and brought out his computer and put on his glasses.

"What will be the exact date for the wedding?"
"August 31st."
"Where do you want the wedding to take place?" Makoto began.
"A cathedral."
"Where do you want the wedding reception?"
"A banquet hall."
"Where do you want your honeymoon?"
"Paris, France." Miyamura said from the top of his head.
"How many people?"
"Well, the must invite list is currently; My family, the Itsukis, the Hajishis, you all, Toru Ishikawa, and Yuki Yoshikawa." Miyamura remembered.
"Add all of our business connections, that would probably be around one hundred people." Megumi calculated as Makoto typed it down.
"Which wedding agency are you using?"
"You can decide."

"Done." Makoto barely broke a sweat as everyone looked at him, confused. "Done what?" Ai asked, trying to peek at Makoto's laptop screen. "I booked the wedding." Makoto looked fairly proud of himself as everyone's confused faces turned into awe. "You even booked flight tickets?" Yamato's eyes widened. "Business class." Makoto shut his laptop screen and folded his glasses. "Thank you so much, ottosan!" Megumi stood from her chair to run and hug her father, who hugged her back. "On one condition." Makoto looked at Megumi, who nodded profusely. "Anything." Megumi smiled. "I get to be the one to give you away." Makoto laid out his terms as all four of Megumi's brothers began arguing.

"Hey! I wanted to do that!"
"Shut up, brat! I'm her father!"
"Well, I told Megumi-chan I'd give her away at Yamato's wedding..."
"No one cares! I should be doing it."
"I should, actually."

Amidst the chaos, Megumi and Miyamura quietly slipped away, seeking refuge in Megumi's room where she quickly ran to the bathroom to throw up. "Megumi-chan, you're sick? Why didn't you tell me?" Miyamura said with a worried tone as he guided Megumi to her bed, where she lay down. "I didn't want to worry you. I've been vomiting since last night." Megumi sighed.

It was true. Four weeks after Miyamura and Megumi's sexual encounter, she started feeling nauseous. "Izumi, I have to go back-." Megumi groaned before vomiting into the vomit bucket again. "You're sick. I'm not letting you go." Miyamura lectured as he poured a cup of hot green tea that he randomly found on Megumi's desk for her to drink. "Here." Miyamura carefully handed Megumi the cup as she blew on it. "Thank you. But I still can't stay here." Megumi complained as the took in a huge gulp of tea. "No, I insist that you stay here. You've been vomiting non-stop, going to the bathroom a lot, and-." A surge of blush overcame Miyamura's face. "Megumi-chan, than night when we- when we did that, do you remember me pulling out?" Miyamura spoke quietly, and Megumi slowly shook her head. "This means you-." Miyamura was interrupted by Megumi immediately standing up and rummaging through her drawers. "I have one in here somewhere..." she mumbled with no context as Miyamura stood by, trying to process what was happening. Then, Megumi pulled out a pregnancy test. "I always keep one with me just in case. I got Toukkun to buy it for me, so that spares me the humiliation of buying on from the pharmacy." Megumi gave a faint smile, and then she felt Miyamura hugging her. "Megumi-chan, I'll be overjoyed to raise a family with you. And I love you, no matter what." He said softly as Megumi blushed.

...

After the testing was done, Megumi stared intently at the pregnancy test, with Miyamura caressing her shoulders and also watching the test intensely. Megumi and Miyamura's eyes widened, and there it was. Two lines. Two lines that would chance their lives forever.
