You were in the woods practicing your bending. You were a Fire Nation Exile along with your older brother Zuko and Uncle Iroh. Zuko was gathering food for the night while Iroh was sleeping next to a rock. As you practiced the basic moves and moved into the more advanced set, the wind started to pick up. You stopped and looked around. Your Uncle was undisturbed and Zuko was no where to be seen.

Hmm. I must be hearing things, you thought. So you went back to practice. Not even a moment after you started practicing again, you heard a loud crashing sound. It was so loud, you couldn't tell where it came from.

"Zuko," you called out. No response. "Zuko! Zuko if this is a joke it's not cool," you shouted. Then you heard the sound again along with a scream.

"Aaaaaah! Incoming!" You looked and saw a boy on a glider falling from overhead. Because he was coming down so fast, you didn't move in time. He crashed into you and you both fell. You hit the ground with a thud and the both of you rolled. When you both stopped, you were somewhat pinned to the ground.

When you opened your eyes, a boy was over the top of you. He had a blue arrow on his head. You groaned at the pain and the boy scrambled off of you quickly. "I am so sorry! Are you hurt," he asked as he pulled you upright. You held your head as he tried to focus your vision.

"I'm okay...at least I think. My head is ringing," you said.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to crash into you. I was in a hurry when my glider was shot," he explained as he stood up. "My name is Aang. What's yours," he asked as he gave you his hand. You slid your hand into his and he pulled you up. When you tried to get to your feet, a sharp pain shot through your side. You grabbed your ribs and fell back.

"My name is y/n," you said through gritted teeth. You pulled up your shirt on your right side and revealed your scraped up side. Your side throbbed and ached. Aang squatted down and looked at your scraped up ribs.

"Here maybe I can help," he said as he lifted his hand to your skin. You flinched and held your hand out.

"No, it's okay. It's just scratched up I'll be fine," you tried to reassure him. He shook his head.

"But y/n, you are bleeding! I can help you. You just have to trust me," he said as he looked into your eyes. You didn't actually trust him. But there was something settling about the way he talked to you. You almost felt comfortable with him. You sighed and looked away from him.

"Aang...I'm fine okay. Please just leave it," you begged.

"No I'm not leaving," he protested. Then a fiery voice exploded from the trees.

"Get away from her!" Then fire was launched an Aang who jumped and dodged the fire. Zuko came into your sight as he scared Aang away from you. Instead of frying the Airbender who was perched on a branch, he rushed to you.

"Y/n! What happened," your brother asked you. He looked at your side and saw blood. You grabbed his wrist to calm him. Given the fact that you two are twins, he always hated to see you in pain.

"Zuko, I'm okay. They are just scratches. Help me up please," you said as you slung your arm over his shoulder. Zuko put his arm around your waist and pulled you to your feet.

"Zuko," Aang said from the tree in front of you. Zuko looked up finally and got a good look at him.

"Aang. It has been some time. Why are you here," Zuko asked. Aang floated down from the branch and landed in front of both of you.

"I sorta crashed into your uh- your uh," Aang stuttered.

"Sister," you finished for him. Aang's eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh! You are Zuko's sister! I was gonna say partner but wow," Aang said as he rubbed the back of his head. Zuko shook his head.

"So how do you two know each other," you asked Zuko.

"We worked together for a while," he replied. "Aang, can you heal her? Since you were the cause of this," Zuko asked.

"Hey I already said I'm sorry okay! No need to make me feel even worse for hurting her," Aang whined. You cracked a small smile. "Besides, she wouldn't let me."

"That's because a second ago, you crashed through the canopy and landed on me," you retorted. Aang turned a soft shade of red. Zuko's eyes widened.

     "He landed on you?"

"Ye..." you started to say 'yeah' until Aang cut you off.

"No need to bring up the past! I'll heal her," Aang said as he looked frantic while turning redder. Zuko grinned at him. You all sat down by a tree. You mentally prepared yourself for the pain that was to come when Aang healed you. "Do you have any water on you guys," Aang asked. Zuko shook his head.

"No we just ran out. I can go refill our canisters," Zuko offered as he got up. Within minutes, your brother returned with water for Aang to begin his process. You watched in awe as he started to manipulate the water. When he put his hands to your skin, the water glowed around the cuts. You were too mesmerized by the technique to realize that you weren't in pain. Once he stopped, he put the water back into the canister.

"Thank you Aang. Or should I say Avatar," you said with a grin. He smiled at you.

"You are welcome y/n." Then suddenly, there was a loud snore and your Uncle Iroh woke up.

"I didn't take it! You can't prove anything," he exclaimed as he frantically looked around. When he saw you, Zuko and Aang, he relaxed. "Oh." You looked at your brother before the three of you started to laugh.
