Nightmare was currently reading through the last paperworks for the day, or well... Afternoon, as these has taken all day for him. Agh, he's gonna need help soon. With his Empire growing and growing, he'll eventually need someone to help him manage it.

Sangria's help is appreciated and all, but he's already busy enough managing calls and making sure that most of the Empire's needs are satiated. Nightmare sighed a bit before his eyesockets widened when he suddenly heard an alarm blare from his desk. "What..." Nightmare asked in shock, that hasn't happened in centuries! He then quickly pressed a button. "Peril! Silver! To the office, NOW!" Nightmare's voice was demanding as hell, the two were quick to teleport before their eyesockets widened at the alarm.

"Is... Is that..." "The Multiverse alarm, yes. Let's go." Nightmare then left his desk and then entered a room that seems to not have been used for ages, the planning room.

Nightmare then pressed a button and the map of the entire Multiverse in holographic form popped up. Nightmare then began to look around when Peril pointed at one of the AU orbs. "Boss look." Nightmare frowned when he saw one of the AUs beginning to have patches of black stuff. So much so that it suddenly began to beep red. "Wh-What the?!" Nightmare was taken a back before he then stepped back a bit. "Shit, Silver, Peril-" "On it boss." Peril then glanced at Silver, who then quickly took Peril's hand and opened a portal to the particular AU, both entering.

"Oh my God..." Silver couldn't help but whisper in shock. "You can say that again." Metal commented from the side, but only Silver could really hear him. "This is... Bad." Peril frowned. "Silver look out!" Silver yelped when Peril swiped at a monster who had black patches all over him. "Peril...!" Peril quickly dropped the knife when he saw it starting to get engulfed by the black thing. "Holy fucking shit- What the hell?!" Peril yelped as he stared at the knife. "This is dangerous, super dangerous-" "Peril?!" Peril and Silver looked over and saw that Comet and Azure was also in the vicinity. "Lord Dream called you both in too?" Peril asked and Comet nodded. "Do you two have any idea on what's happening here?" Azure asked in a serious manner and both shook their skulls.

"One thing's for sure though, we shouldn't touch those things. They disintegrated my knife upon contact!" Killer yelped and Azure and Comet frowned. "Shit... That means that whatever this is spreads fast as hell." Comet spoke. "Look out!" Azure then summoned a bone attack and quickly threw it towards a monster behind Comet. "Wh-What the hell?!" Comet yelped once he saw the monster just let out garbled noises and slowly rising again. The bone attack just getting consumed by the virus while Comet glanced at Azure. "We gotta leave, now." Comet spoke and Peril nodded.

"We definitely can't stay here for much longer, even if we're tasked to find survivors. Even we wouldn't be able to survive by staying here for long." Peril spoke while Comet then quickly dodged a monster and used a bone attack to yeet them away. Peril watching before he then glanced back at the other two.

"We should go back to our Lords and tell them about this. God knows they'd get mad at us if we ever get infected ourselves." Peril added and Comet nodded. "Definitely... I can't help but feel bad for them though, they look like they're suffering..." Comet said softly, Silver simply just nodded before placing a hand on Peril's shoulder. "Right... Right, we should go, we can't afford to stay anymore, it's only a matter of time before the virus gets us." Peril frowned as he then backed away at one of the virus that got a bit closer to them upon sensing more life.

Azure then opened a portal after that, he's not risking it anymore. "Comet, let's go." Azure spoke and Comet quickly entered, avoiding as much of the black goopy glitches as much as possible and Azure followed. Peril then turned to Silver, who had also already summoned a portal and he quickly went inside with Silver. The portal then closed, just in time to avoid the falling corrupted debris.

"Your highness, it's really bad." "How bad?" Both parties glanced at each other nervously, Peril and Comet more so than Azure and Silver.

"Bad."

Sorry for the long update, I lost my motivation for this book, and I'm kinda busy with other things and stuff fgdbfn

But rest assured, this book will never be on Hiatus, or would just suddenly be dropped out of nowhere for long periods of time! I promise!
