He was right though. It's my fault Sabito died... Tsutako to. Honestly, what do i even have in this world...

I always think about slicing my own head off but i immediately remember sabito's words to me when i first met him.

"Don't die! If you die then I'll be mad at you, got it?"

If Sabito is mad at me then I'd be really sad... Now I'm talking like a child. Great.

God... Now i feel like crying. Just thinking about them... About him.
Now that i think back on it, if only he hadn't protected me, if only it was me instead of him... He'd be a far better hashira then me. Everyone would like him too since he's kind, caring, funny and strong... All the things that I'm not.

I feel something warm fall down my cheeck as i raise my hand and touch it. Am i... Crying? Why? Is it because of Sabito? Or Shinobu's words?

"Tomioka san?~ Are you... Crying?"

I suddenly get drawn back to reality as i look shinobu in the eyes before swiftly turning away.

"No, i'm just sweating..." I reply, trying to steady my voice.

No one's pov:

As Giyuu silently cried, Shinobu looked at him with pitty. However, little did he know. Sabito was watching over him and could understand what Giyuu was thinking as well as what he felt.

"You dumbass... You're strong and reliable, you even have Tanjiro by your side..." Sabito said reassuringly, even though Giyuu couldn't hear him.

Sabito huged Giyuu knowing very well that he'd never feel it. That's what he thought at least.

Giyuu felt a rush of warmth, as if he was being hugged and cried further. It was luke Sabito was with him in person.

"...i love you... Sabito" he whispered under his breath ever so quietly, but not quiet enough for it to miss Sabito's ears. His face flushed pink as he smiled softly.

"I love you too Giyuu..."

Suddenly Giyuu felt a pair of arms wrap around him.

"Tomioka san, I'm sorry.."

It was Shinobu.

Giyuu looked at shinobu before collapsing and crying into her arms.

"It's my fault... If.. If..." Giyuu cried quietly. Meanwhile Sabito stared at them, he was happy but at the same time sad. He felt as if he'd just been replaced with a butterfly walmart knockoff version of the purple teletubby. It should be him comforting giyuu... It should be him giving giyuu love and attention. But he couldn't... Giyuu would never be able to see him until that fateful day comes... In which sabito never wants to see.

"It's okay tomioka san..."
