Based in the past when they were training with Urokodaki.

Giyuu was swinging his sword multiple times as Sabito sat on a rock and watched, counting every swing Giyuu made.

"497... 498... 499... 500!" Sabito exclaimed, while Giyuu dropped his sword and panted, falling to the ground.

"Tired at 500? Wow Giyuu" Sabito hops down from the rock and helps Giyuu stand back up.

"Not everyone is as strong as you! Hmp" Giyuu says, panting.

Before they could continue their argument, Urokodaki appeared.

"Sabito, could you go down to the village and buy some coal" He asks and sabito nods.

He puts Giyuu on the rock he was sitting on before and leaves, taking Urokodaki's money with him.

"Now that he's gone... Giyuu, you're falling behind. 500 more swings!" Giyuu looks at him in shock before getting back up and doing 500 more swings.

By the time he had finished, Sabito returned. But something was different...

After giving Urokodaki the coal he immediately left to the waterfall. While Giyuu, being a naturally curious child, followed him.

When he got there, he saw sabito sitting down on a rock near the waters edge.

"Is something wrong sabito?" Giyuu asked, sitting down next to him.

Sabito took a bit to answer Giyuu, but when he did, it surprised him.
"Giyuu... Do you think I'm ugly?" He asked, turning to Giyuu.

Giyuu took a good look at his face. He appeared to have a bandage covering his scar...

"Did someone hurt you!? Are you okay? Should i call sensei-" Giyuu became clouded with worry since Sabito didn't usually act like this.

"Answer my question Giyuu... Am i ugly?" Sabito asked once again, looking sadder than before.

Giyuu sighed as he realized what this was about. The villagers must've called him ugly because of his scar...

"Your beauty never scared me Sabito..." Giyuu says as he takes of the bandage from Sabito's face. "You're the prettiest person i know! Plus your scar means that you're strong and brave."

Sabito chuckles at Giyuu's words as tears form in the corner of his eyes.

"They were intimidated by how beautiful you were!" Giyuu says confidently.

They both laugh as Urokodaki watches them from a distance, proud of his two students.

However, he wasn't proud of the fact that they came back soaked. You see, giyuu had kissed Sabito's scar and sabito got so flustered that he slipped off the rock and into the water, while Giyuu tried to prevent that and ended up falling in too.

"What will i do with you two..."
