Giyuu's pov:

I looked out at the beautiful view of ocean waves crashing in harmony, with the graceful tint of the sunrise in the distance...

The fresh snow covered grass surrounding the cold park bench i sat on only added to the calming feel of the view. It felt surreal, with the frosty wind, and my figure skates beside me.

It was early in the morning, making me a little sleepy. However, it was very much worth it. Occasionally i do have to wake up early to practice, but usually it's so i can meet up with a guy who goes jogging along this path early in the morning.

I want to become friends but... I'm not good with social interactions. I've tried to approach him while he took a break, but i always back out.

On the plus side, it was nearing the middle of winter, which means snow and frozen lakes. Perfect for practice and performances.

I life my hands up to my mouth to warm them from the frosty air as i listen for approaching footsteps.

As soon as i heard them i shifted my head ever so slightly to see a tall man with peachy hair and glistening purple eyes. He had a scar om his face that went to the corner of his soft lips as well as a fitting skin tone. His cheeks were tinted pink as he ran towards the bench, wearing his usual attire for jogging.

Something was different this time... Instead of taking a small break on the other bench, or continuing on his jog, he headed towards where i was seated.

I try not to panic as he approaches me with a bright smile that could melt even a snowmans heart.

"Hi, mind if i sit here?" I look up at him as i pull my skates towards me and nod.

He just smiles and takes a seat before pulling out a water bottle from his bag.

"I've seen you here often, you look pretty with the ocean in the background" He says, causing me to blush as he quickly covers his mouth.

"Sorry! I tend to talk quite a bit and accidentally say weird stuff..." He chuckles shyly.

"It's... Fine" i say as i look off to the side. He was really talking to me! He smiles before looking down at my skates and then back at me.

"You like to ice skate?" He asks.

"I'm a figure skater.." I say shyly. My heart won't stop beating... It's the first time it's doing this.

"Oh, cool! Mind teaching me sometime?" I flinch at the question. Me, teach him? Can my heart handle it? Wait, is this how you make friends?

"Okay mr..."

"Oh right– call me Sabito!" He says, smiling brightly. Which makes me smile slightly.

"I'm tomioka giyuu, but please call me giyuu" For a moment Sabito stops, his face turning slightly more pink... Did i make him uncomfortable? Or is it just the cold breeze...

I start to panic as i stand up and quickly take my scarf off and wrap it around his neck loosely.

"S-Sorry, i must get going!" I say, slightly raising my voice before running off. Completely forgetting my skates.

Sabito's pov:

I sit in shock as i process what just happened. I adjust the scarf as i smile to myself. He gave me his scarf... How cute.

I look to my side and realize he completely forgot his ice skates. I jump up and raise the skates before shouting.

"Hey! You forgot your– and he's gone.." I don't even have his number... Great. Did he get uncomfortable? Is that why he ran away... I'm usually great with people, why is he different?

It was kind of cute though... I guess I have to wait until tomorrow. If he shows up that is.

I assume he wanted to talk to me because he comes here quite often every morning, stealing a glance every so often. He probably isn't great with people... How adorable!

He reminds me of a small kitten, afraid of everyone until finally warming up to them. Wait– What am i thinking!? Don't catch feelings for a guy you just met! Although technically I've known him for a few months...

My brain was all over the place, however... One thing stood out. Why did i suddenly have the urge to talk to him...

I don't even know the answer myself. All i know, is that he seems like an interesting guy. I put the skates in my bag and continue my run before doing my daily duties.

The next morning, Instead of going out on my usual run, i put on casual attire and stop by the bench where Giyuu usually is. However, it was one of those days that he wasn't anywhere to be seen...

Well he did say he was a figure skater, i could try my luck at an ice skating ring! Wait, wouldn't i seem like a stalker?–

Oh well, he should be grateful that i, Sabito, a national snowboarder, is willing to go through anything to return Cinderella's skates. I laugh to myself at the ridiculous title before catching a the nearest bus.

While on the bus, i searched for any ice skating rings close to me and it came up with two. One of them is closed for maintenance, while the other one is open.

As soon as the bus stops i get off and make my way to the ice skating ring, speed walking as i try not to bump into anyone.

Once i get there, i see someone talking to the lady at the front desk. He has black hair and beautiful porcelain skin.

I smile as i walk up to him, slightly huffing as i tap his shoulder. He flinches as he turns around.

"You forgot about these, and thanks for letting me borrow your scarf!" I say, smiling. His face is shocked as he seems slightly panicked.

"Oh– u-uh thank you!" He says as he takes his skates and scarf.

"Are you Sabito?" The woman at the front desk asks. She's short with insect like eyes and a smile plastered onto her face. She seems to stand out with her dyed tips, certainly an interesting choice.

"Mhm, and you are?" I ask, she seems like someone who's a bully to their friends, but would beat someone's ass if they ever touchedtheir friend... Definitely sister energy.

"I'm Shinobu, i work here." She smiles before looking at Giyuu and then back at me. "Thank you for taking the time to return my friend's things, you see, he isn't very good at social communication."

I smile and nod while Giyuu blushes tremendously.

"Aren't you tired, how about Giyuu takes you out to lunch?" She suggests, While giyuu turns away with his tinted ears giving him away.

"That'd be wonderful, then you can teach me how to skate just like you promised" i smile once more while giyuu looks up at me, smiling a bit.

Meanwhile the girl at the desk practically faints, taking a few pictures of Giyuu smiling before falling onto the floor.

"Are you okay?–"

"I'm fine pretty boy, just go on without me" she says dramatically.

"We'll be back then" Giyuu says as he places his skates onto the desk before exiting the building, with me following behind.

"THEY'RE BOTH GAY, HAND OVER THE $20 MITSURI" Were the last words i heard from the girl as we left.

Personally, i LOVE this AU. Giyuu as a figure skater and Sabito as a snowboarder? Love it. I'm proud of myself for coming up with this idea✨
