Chapter 63

Tony Stark's POV

Once I brought Yelena back to the compound, I notified FRIDAY to call for an emergency meeting for all of the team members, except for the Young Avengers and some of the younger members of the X-Men team since this mission would obviously be too dangerous for them.

Once all of the team members arrived in the conference room, I immediately started to explain the situation to them.

"So, everyone. Meet Yelena Belova. She recently came to me and told me that the Red Room was still in operation and she needs help to take it down once and for all"

"What? I thought that Romanov and I took down their main base on our first mission?", Clint asked in disbelief.

"Well, clearly you didn't do a very good job on your first mission", Yelena retorted in a bitter tone.

"Easy, Yelena. He is on our side. Besides, Romanov is as much as to blame as him"

"Fine"

"Anyways, back to the main issue on hand. Fortunately, Yelena came across an antidote that can release the other Black Widows from their mind control, but it will need to be replicated in order to free all of the Black Widows. So, Bruce and Strange, I will need your help with using the BARF technology to replicate the antidote"

"Of course, Tony", Bruce said.

"No problem, Tony", Strange said.

"Ok, now, Josh, I will need you and Clint to find out the location of the main mastermind of the Red Room"

"Actually, Tony, I think that I know two people who might know the location of Dreykov, but I don't know where they are"

"Really? Who?"

"Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff. My... parents"

"Parents? But how--"

"I will explain more about them later, but all you need to know is that they work for the Red Room as they created the mind control agents, If anyone knows where Dreykov is, then it would be them"

"Ok, Yelena, why don't you work with Clint and Josh to find out the location of those two instead?"

"Sure"

"Ok, I will make sure that we are cleared to do this mission by the committee, and get permission from the U.S. and Russian governments. For now, everyone just work on their assigned jobs or prepare for the mission"

"On it, Tony", everyone said at the same time.

"Ok, let's do this". Once everyone left the conference room, I immediately scheduled a meeting with the committee members and the U.S. and Russian governments. Once I attended both of the meetings, I met up with Yelena in one of the training rooms. "The committee has approved our mission, and the U.S. government said that we are cleared to leave the country. The Russian government said that they didn't care if Dreykov came back dead or alive, so I'm more than certain that we are cleared to enter the country"

"That's great. Clint, Josh, and I found out the location of Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff. They are on a farm in St. Petersburg"

"Ok, I will prepare the team to leave in a few minutes. We should arrive there in a couple of hours"

"Ok"

"So, speaking of your parents...?"

"Right, both of them are the reason that I ended up in the Red Room in the first place"

"Oh... I'm sorry about that"

"You have nothing to apologize for. Besides, I will be fine when the Red Room is destroyed once and for all"

"I'm sure that you will be"

"I'm sorry about what Natasha has done to you. I thought that she would have changed. I thought that she would have been better than what the Red Room had taught her, but I guess that I was wrong to assume that of her"

"It wasn't your fault. It is not like you had anything to do with how she turned out to be as a person"

"I know, but--"

"Look, she made her choice and you made your choice, and if her choice caused her to ruin her own life, then she has no one to blame but herself"

"...Thanks, but regardless of she has done in the past, she is still my sister, but even I have to admit that she has gone too far"

"You have no idea"

"Anyways, Tony. I think that they is something that you need to know"

"What?"

So, you know how during Natasha's trial that all of the evidence of her missions in the Red Room were showcased?"

"How could I ever forget that? It was very disturbing. What about it?"

"Well... I was the one who released those videos"

"Really? Why? Not that I am complaining or opposing to what you had done, but she is your sister, so why?"

"I don't know, but I just thought that she went too far and I just couldn't take it anymore. I always hated it when people thought that they were superior to others and thought that anyone owned them something"

"Couldn't agree more with you"

"Anyways, we should prepare for the mission. There is nothing more that I want, then the Red Room to be destroyed"

"Ok, let's go meet up with the other members, then we will head out to St. Petersburg"

"Sounds like a plan"

A/N: Hi, everyone! Hope you enjoyed the update of "I am Iron-Man". Also, I just wanted to say that I have never seen "Black Widow", so originally Yelena was not going to be in the story, but then, I realized that it was my story and I could do whatever I wanted, so why not? So, if something seems off, then I'm sorry. I'm basing what happened in "Black Widow" on Wikipedia and other Pro-Team Iron-Man fanfictions.
