Clint's POV
"Well, I shouldn't be surprised that they think that they're entitled to your card. Not that I'm excusing them, of course!". Jessica told me about her encounter with the rogues near the lab entrance while we were in one of the training rooms. I swear that these rogues will be the death of me.
"Yeah, I know what you meant", Jessica responded as she was hitting a punching bag. "Honestly, how did you and Tony deal with these delusional people? They think that everything belongs to them"
"I don't know how Tony had enough patience for them. To be honest, I don't how I managed not to be on their list, since anyone who's related to Tony is unworthy of forgiveness and somehow the reason for everything wrong that happens in the world"
"Well, unless they happen to be Captain America fans"
"True, but that was destroyed when the Avengers split and Rogers decided that it was a good idea to jam a metal shield into a man's chest and leave him for dead in an abandoned bunker until he was rescued three days later"
"Well, I was more an Iron-Man fan than a Captain America fan anyway"
"Yeah, I know. You would mention that every chance that you'll get", I responded, rolling my eyes.
"Because I love to annoy you any chance that I have. Anyway, we should get back to training, who knows when that intergalactic threat will appear"
"Agree". Before we could start our training, Rogers walked in with Romanov and Maximoff. Why can't they take a hint and realize that nobody wants to see or talk to them?
"What do you three want now?!", Jessica asked angrily.
"We just wanted to talk"
"Then talk. As you can see, we were busy training and we would like to get back to that"
"Clint, we're your friends. We just want to clear the tension". Friends? Friends?! Friends wouldn't put other friends' personal and private information on file without telling them and wouldn't expose those secrets on the internet for the whole world to see.
"Please, with friends like you, he'll never need any enemies", Jessica said, seemingly voicing my thoughts. "He could've died because of you two and Wilson"
"What are you talking about?". Seriously. Have they just forgotten, ignored or didn't care about the consequences of the SHIELD Information Dump? They were investigated for goodness sake!
"Are you kidding me?! The SHIELD Information Dump? Where you idiots decided to dump confidential government information on the internet without so much as a care about the consequences?"
"SHIELD was infiltrated by HYDRA. We exposed them by doing the dump"
"Maybe, but regardless of HYDRA infiltrating SHIELD, you three were still responsible for thousands of innocent deaths"
"We did the right thing in the end"
"Really? Tell me, Rogers, was it the right thing to do by dumping confidential information on the open web without checking who were genuine SHIELD agents or genuine HYDRA agents first? Was it the right thing to do by dumping that same information on the open web without crypting them, so enemies of SHIELD wouldn't easily have the information of SHIELD agents and their families? Was it the right thing to do by causing billions of dollars worth in damages by crashing three giant helipads into the river and the SHIELD building itself, which caused SHIELD to be destroyed and cause more deaths combined than the dump itself?!". Man, I haven't seen Jessica this angry since she saw Tony lying on the floor in that bunker, unconscious and a shield in his chest.
