Yelena Belova's POV

As soon as Alexei and Melina were captured, the Russian government immediately took them into custody. Due to the fact that the New Avengers needed information from them, they were allowed to be the ones who interrogated them. Might as well, in my opinion, since they were set to be killed anyways.

Tony volunteered to be the main interrogator. Originally, he wanted Rhodes or Clint to join him to be the second interrogator and extra protection, but I intercepted and willingly volunteered to join him.

"Are you sure about that, Yelena? After all, there are your parents, so I don't think it would be a good idea to be in the same room as them since you have that much history with them"

"I have no loyalty toward them. Besides, I haven't seen them in a long time, so I doubt that they would recognize me"

"Alright, if you're so sure about this"

"I'll be fine, Tony. Besides, it would be nice to get some things off of my chest"

"... Ok, if you insist, then I can't stop you. Let's go". We walked into the interrogation room where Alexei looked at us with a glare of hatred while Melina looked distraught and ashamed. I doubt that Alexei would cooperate with us, but if Melina does, then she might be able to at least get a couple of life sentences in prison. "Mr. Shostakov and Ms.Vostokoff. You two clearly had a very long day"

"What do you want?", Alexei asked in spite. I'm more than certain that if he wasn't handcuffed to the table right now, then he would have lunged at Tony.

"Not much, just the location of Dreykov"

"I'm not telling you anything"

"Very well, if that is what you want. After all, I'm not the one who is currently on death row right now"

"Death row?", Melina repeated in fear.

"Of course! I mean, what did the two of you expect? Seeing how involved both of you are with the Red Room. Heck, we just caught you making the Black Widow chemical stronger than before, so what did you think would happen?"

"I don't care! I would rather die than betray the Red Room like that!"

"Whatever, it is your funeral. Well, it actually would be your funeral, only that no-one would ever show up to mourn. Well, since I clearly can't get information out of you, Mr. Shostakov. What about you, Ms. Vostokoff? Unlike your husband, you could at least have a few life sentences since you complied with your arrest. But if you refuse to cooperate with us now, then you could be on death row as well. I wouldn't ruin that opportunity if I were you"

Melina hesitated for a second, but then she gave in and revealed the location. "After the main base of the Red Room was destroyed, Dreykov decided to move the base into the sky"

"The sky?", I spoke for the first time since we entered this room. "Where exactly in the sky?"

"I'm not sure. Honestly, I don't know. He could be anywhere at this point"

"Ok, at least it's something. I don't think that it should be that hard to find him if he is airborne. Thanks, this will help us a lot. Come on, are you ready to go?", Tony asked as he stood up from his seat.

"Just... give me a second, Tony". He just nodded and left the room. I turned back toward Alexei and Melina and gave both of them a glare. "I should be surprised that neither of you recognized me, but I'm not"

"... Yelena?"

"Yeah, it's me"

"Yelena? How could you do this to us?! Your parents?!"

"How could I do this to you?! How could you put me into the Red Room?! And neither of you are my parents! My real parents died a long time ago, and I know that they would never do what you two did to me!"

"Yelena... I'm sorry"

"Save it! I thought you, of all people, should understand firsthand how the Red Room would do to me, but you still placed me in there! But it doesn't matter anymore, once the New Avengers and I destroy the Red Room and arrest Dreykov, then all of those innocent girls, and potential ones, will be freed from its grasp"

"Yelena- -"

"No! I am done talking to the two of you! Have fun in prison or death row!". I turned to head out the door, but Melina spoke up again.

"Yelena, wait! I have to warn that Dreykov programmed all of the Black Widow with a pheromone lock. You won't be able to attack him as long as you have it"

"... Thanks, I will take care of that when the time calls for it to be uninstalled". I left the room without saying another word to them. I found that Tony was outside, waiting for me.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I'm fine. By the way, I might need Dr. Strange's help to remove something for me"

"Sure, we will let him know when we return to the jet"

"Thank you... for everything"

"Anytime. It is my job anyways. Ready to save the world?"

"I have been more than ready"
