Steve's POV
I can't believe Tony's doing this to us. To our team. I can't believe that they're sending Wanda away next week and Tony said nothing! I know that we left on bad terms, but he shouldn't be acting this petty. I wish that I could've ended things differently back at Siberia, but he forced me to do some drastic measures. He shouldn't have attacked Bucky. I knew that I made the right choice by not telling me the truth. I knew that he would've reacted exactly how he did in Siberia.
Anyway, the team and I were walking and exploring the new and improved compound. It's great how Tony improved the place, but he should've left it alone. The place didn't feel like home. We passed by one of the training rooms when I noticed one of the kids, Ethan I think his name was, fighting...Loki?! What's he doing here?! He should be in jail!
I saw that there was another Loki sneaking up behind Ethan with a knife in his hand while the other Loki was fighting Ethan.
"Avengers assemble!", I shouted as the team ran into the training room and attacked Loki. Suddenly, I felt a surge of power hit and lifted me off of Loki and off of the ground. I looked around and saw that the rest of the team were lifted up as well.
"What do you think that you're doing?!", Ethan shouted at me and the rest of the team.
"We were trying to help you. He was trying to stab you from behind!"
"Yeah because we were training and he was trying to help me on watching my back until you idiots interrupted us!"
"Why is he even here?"
"Because he's one of my team members, that's why!", Jessica addressed as she walked into the training room with...Tony and Vision. "Ethan, can you please put them down?"
"Alright". He roughly dropped us onto the ground. I noticed that Jessica gave him a "seriously" look. "You didn't say that I had to gently put them down"
"Ok, is everyone alright?"
"Yeah, but--". Jessica interrupted me as I started speaking.
"I was asking my team members, not you!". While Jessica was talking with her team members, Wanda went over and tried to talk with Vision.
"Vision". Vision was ignoring Wanda, but she kept trying to talk to him. It wasn't fair for Wanda. She was trying to fix the tension that was left behind in the Avengers break up, but Vision wasn't trying to resolve anything.
"So. Jessica, is everything okay?", Tony asked.
"Yeah, everything's fine. Well, I'll let you two continue training. Keep up the great work"
"Thanks, but I think that we're done for the day"
"Agreed", Loki bluntly said. When they were about to leave, I tried to stop Tony, so we could have the talk.
"Wait, Tony. We need to talk"
"On the contrary, Rogers. There's nothing to talk about. Now, if you don't mind, I have some important work that needs to be done". Before I could say anything else, Tony and the others left the room.
Tony shouldn't be this petty. We need to move past our problems and work together as a team. We need to be a team again, and in order for us to be a team again, then Tony needs to let go of his ego for once and admit that he was wrong.
