Steve Rogers' POV

When Natasha and I arrived back at the compound, we went into the west wing to think about a plan on how to save Wanda. When we arrived back, we were surprised that Harley and Pietro were there, in front of the entrance of our room. Why were they here? I thought that Pietro said that he hated his sister and wanted nothing to do with her? And why would Harley be here? If he's anything like Jessica and Ethan, then he should have an unjustified and unnecessary hatred towards us, so we would they be here?

"Thank goodness, you two are back! We need your help!", Pietro said. Well, it must be an emergency if they're looking for the real heroes for help.

"What's the problem?"

"It's Tony. He's not the same. He's not acting like himself", Harley explained. I knew it. I knew that Tony didn't act like himself. If he did act like himself, then he wouldn't have supported the Accords and would've helped us fight against the controlling government and their controlling and limiting Accords.

"I think that Jessica and Ethan might something to do with it. It seems way too suspicious". I knew that those two couldn't be trusted. I'm glad that these two realized that.

"How's Tony not acting like himself? What has he been doing?". I knew that Tony didn't act like himself, but I want to know the full extent of how much Tony has been manipulated, so Wanda can fix him.

"Well, Pietro and I don't know the full extent of it, but he has been spending too much with Ethan, Jessica and even Loki". Loki! I knew it. There's no way that Tony would've added him to the team unless Loki did something to him. We should've thrown him in jail when we had the chance.

"And I noticed that Ethan and Loki looked to have swirls of magic surrounding their hands and Tony seemed to do whatever they wanted". I suspected that. Ethan and Loki manipulated Tony into doing whatever they needed from. I'm sure that Loki wanted revenge for his defeat in his invasion on New York and he went after Tony and made him destroy the only family that he had.

"I noticed that two. I tried to tell people and no-one seemed to believe me and they just act like nothing is wrong. Jessica, Rhodey and Pepper just seemed to be encouraging it". Rhodey and Pepper were never good friends for Tony. They just encouraged all of Tony's egoistic and selfish behavior and unlike his real friends; the Avengers, they didn't try to stop me and keep him in check.

"Wait. Even if this is all true, why should we trust you? You hated us before for no reason and now you would to work with us?". Natasha had a point. These two hated us for no reason and Pietro embarrassed and wrongfully yelled at his own sister. They can't be trusted easily.

"Look, you have every right to mad at us and we don't deserve your forgiveness and our place on the team, but we want to help Tony. Jessica told me to just ignore it and move on, but it's clear that she knew that Tony was being manipulated, but chose to ignore it because it benefitted her and the others, and that's not right"

Harley had a point. It wasn't right that the people who claimed to be Tony's friends would try to manipulate him and use him for their own benefit, but the Avengers will rescue him and make sure that he won't be manipulated anymore.

"Alright, we can help you, but don't think that we can trust you now"

"We understand. All we care about is saving Tony". Just because Tony has been manipulated by Ethan and Loki, doesn't mean that he'll be forgiven that easily. He'll have to do a lot of making up to the real Avengers in order to earn his place back into the Avengers. He still won't be trusted to control the Iron-Man suit anymore, so in order to make it up to us will be to help us fight against the corrupted government and get rid of the Accords, surrender Iron-Man to the Avengers, provide new and effective gear for the Avengers and cover all of our expenses for missions and personal needs.

I know that once we free Tony from his manipulation, he'll be more than willing to support the Avengers as a consultant since he did that before the invasion with Loki.

Then I remembered Clint. Is he being manipulated by Loki again? I'm sure that he is because he definitely wouldn't have supported Loki joining the Avengers. I'm sure that once we throw Loki in jail, then Clint will be freed from Loki's manipulation.

"Alright, now what do we need to do?"

"In order to help Tony, we need to free your sister from the prison that she has been sentenced to"

"I agree, I own her so many apologizes for what I had said"

"I think that you might be able to help us with your powers. But in order to know the layout of the prison. I might be able to hack into the database, but I'll need someone to walk inside and find the cell itself"

"I could do it, but maybe I could have Peter help us. He noticed that Tony has been acting weird as well". I heard about Peter. He sounds just like Jessica and Ethan, but if he's willing to do the right thing, then we could accept his help.

"Alright, bring him here and we'll see if he wants to do the right thing and help out the real heroes.

Peter Parker's POV

Now that I think about it, and what I had just saw, I'm kind of glad that Jessica decided that Pietro and Harley would be a better option than Harley and me because I know that I would've gotten riled up and ruined the plan the moment that the Rogues opened their mouths, and I know that in the process, Harley would've gotten riled up too.

I watched the entire scene from the corner, then once Pietro and Harley went inside the room, I went into the living room and told Jessica about what happened.

"Jessica, it happened"

"Great, nice to see that everything is working in our favor"

"So what's the next step?"

"Well, now we just sit back and let Pietro and Harley handle the rest"
