Chapter 4

"Ano? Bumili ka ng kalabaw?!" Sigaw ni Kambal saakin, medyo nailayo ko Yung phone sa Tenga ko. Nasa Bahay ulit kami ni Avaline to eat lunch, pero currently nasa may garden niya ulit ako, Hindi pa naman na luluto ang lunch so I decided to hang around at Avaline's garden. And then I decided to call Yasmin.

"Yes, I did. Have you seen the picture of the baby Carabao? I did send it to you." I told her with a smile on my face.

"I have seen it, akala ko naman nadaanan mo lang! Gosh Kambal! Anong gagawin mo dyan? Marunong ka ba mag alaga ng kalabaw? Saan mo yan isisiksik sa bahay?" Napangiwe Naman ako sa Dami ng tanong ni Kambal.

"Well, aalgaan ko of course, and, I could always do my research on how to take care of them. At Isa pa may animal sanctuary ako, Malaki pa Naman ang space Doon." Pag papaliwanag ko sakanya.

"Animal sanctuary? You mean daddy's old house?!" I giggle at my sister's antic voice, I could imagine the frustration in her face.

"Yesss." I answered prolonging the sound of s on my tongue.

"Ai dios mio corazon!" My sister spoke in Spanish, I bit my lower lip to contain my excitement, I can't wait to let Summer see it.

"What did dad say?" Tanong ulit ni Yasmin saakin.

"Nothing, he just stared at me with a horrified expression." I answered because it was the Truth! Dad looked at me the whole time with a horrified expression as he is reminded that I bought a Carabao.

"How are you going to bring it here in manila? Matagal pa bago mag pagawa ng passport ng mga yan." Medyo kunsomidong tanong saakin ni Yasmin, I looked at my nails and hummed, I still don't know about that.

"Hahanapan ko nalang ng paraan." Sagot ko, muli kong narinig na nag buntong hininga si Yasmin.

"Okay fine, Ikaw Ang bahala. Gosh I still can't believe you bought a Carabao." May narinig akong kaluskos mula sa kabilang side, hinintay ko siyang mag salita ulit.

"Anyway, I have to go. I have an appointment with Katherine." Napataas naman medyo ang kilay ko, napapansin ko Kasi na medyo napapa dalas Ang pag labas nilang mag Kasama.

"Weren't you with her the other day?" I asked her confused.

"Yes, that's because I have a practice with her." I Know that, Yasmin had been training again in ballet for a performance she will do. But other than that, they have been hanging out a lot.

"How about your husband? How is he? Nandyan ba siya?" There's a long pause, akala ko naputol na Ang tawag kaya napatingin ako sa phone ko, but the call is still on going.

"Hello Yasmin? Nandyan ka pa ba?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Uh, yes, yes andito pa ako. Anyway, wala dito si Henry, Kasama niya si Cloud na lumabas. Mag bobonding daw sila." I could hear the sudden change in her voice, it sounded bitter. She used to talk enthusiastically about Henry, but today sounds a bit off, nag aalala ako.

" Without you? Nakaka panibago Naman." I stated allowing her to know that I am worried and very well aware of their relationship.

" Uh, no it's not new. They used to hang out before, just the two of them." Mabilis na sagot ni Yasmin, lifting her voice a little, she must have realized that I am worried. Now my enthusiasm over the baby Carabao I bought is replaced with worry.

" Is everything alright between you and Henry Yasmin, answer me honestly." I stated sounding serious, again matagal na hindi naka sagot si Yasmin.

"Don't lie to me Kambal." I added, I heard her sigh before she spoke.

"I really have to go." Sagot niya, I closed my eyes and cursed silently knowing that there's is something wrong with their relationship.

"Okay fine, just wanna let you know that... If there's something wrong with your relationship with your husband, I will know about it, one way or another." I stated.
