Rei's POV

It's been a month since we broke up.

It's been a hell long month since I broke her heart.

I wish I could go back in time and undo all of the terrible lies I've told her. Every time I recall her defeated, glum demeanor, it hurts. I wish I had the strength to wipe away her tears and let myself swallow my own medicine.

How could I hurt the love of my life?

"Max."

I feign interest in the person who called me, "Ngayon na?"

He nodded, "Nasa gym na ang lahat, Presi."

I gave him a plain smile, "Thank you, Marcus."

Tuwing madadaan ako sa room niya dahil same course kami. Hindi ko alam kung sinasadya niya bang makipaglandian kay Jass na kablockmate niya o sadyang malandi lang talaga siya. I'm not sure, but I'm starting to see the old Dane. She's returned to being cocky and obnoxious.

We haven't spoken since that night, and she didn't even bother to approach, which I'm not complaining about because it was my fault why we ended up in separation.

"Max."

Another change is that she has changed the way she addresses me. I've heard from our friends how she addresses my name whenever they're having a talk and occasionally includes me. It's just Max now, no more Rei, Anno, or Babe. And it hurts, big time.

I miss her. No doubt.

I lifted my gaze and met her blank eyes, "What do you need?"

"Can we talk?"

Even her voice feels so surreal, "I have things to do." I declined.

She cracked a disappointed smile, "Kahit limang minuto?"

This is the first time she confronted me. I suppose I jinxed it. Seeing her messy appearance and forlorn gaze drives me to pull her face and kiss her as if it were my last opportunity in life.

"I can't, i'm busy."

"Hanggang kailan?" I furrowed, "I was trying to appro—"

"No, you did not. You were busy flirting with your girls while I was around." I bluntly uttered.

She scoffed, "Why are you responding so peculiarly? You don't love me, right? You never fucking did. And now you're showing me the delusionary assumption that you fucken did."

Hearing her statements nearly caused me to drop my mouth. Her eyes are a kaleidoscope of emotions pero nangingibabaw ang pangungulila, "I'm sorry, I have to go."

'Yon lang ang nasabi ko bago lumihis sa daang hinaharangan niya pero nagulat ako ng hatakin niya ang pulsuhan ko sabay hila sa kung saan. I tried to fight back, but she looked back at me with her lifeless face, and I was astonished.

I gasped as she pulled me, but I seemed to forget my irritation when I noticed where we were.

"Dane." I unconsciously mumbled.

She faced me seriously, "You'll marry me sa ayaw at sa gusto mo."

That's when I totally dropped my jaw. I hadn't recovered when she drew me again in the aisle, where a large number of students were watching us. I saw a grin on her face before leaving me completely alone at the end of the aisle while holding a freaking flowers?!
