"What did you say to her?" Calix asked Vicente.
"Nothing. And that's the problem." I said getting worked up. "So are you gonna take me home?" I asked him and he glared at Vicente before gripping my arm and leading us outside.
"What's your deal?" I asked before pulling my arm out of his grasp.
"You are," Calix said and my eyes widened. "You are mine." He said before placing a rough kiss on my mouth and a rush of butterflies flew through my chest.
"I-I thought you said-"
"I know, Heaven." He said before pecking my lips and tapping my ass. "Let's get you home." He said and I wordlessly climbed into the car.
Does this mean I'm allowed to be open about my feelings now? Because I have been hiding them for so long now.
I couldn't help but to fall-
I looked over at Calix, his hand gripped the steering wheel as if he was upset. His jaw was clenched as he focused on the road.
"Calix?" I called and he briefly looked over at me.
"Yes." He replied briefly.
"I'm sorry," I said softly.
"For what?" He asked and I closed my eyes.
"For betraying you."
"You already apologized for that, love." He said and I sunk into my seat.
"So?" I asked and he breathed out.
"Apology accepted." He said with a smirk on his face. I looked out the window and smiled broadly.
Things might be different from now on.
"Thank you," I said softly and I noticed him smiling. He has a nice smile.
"Nevaeh Hart." He said smoothly and I felt butterflies in my chest.
No Nevaeh this isn't Buffalo 66.
This isn't a movie this is real life and you don't fall in love with your kidnapper in real life. There's a fault in that, it's wrong.
But then again Vicente said that he had me kidnapped. I shook my head before pushing Vicente to the back of my head.
"What does, No puedes confiar en nadie, mean?" I asked slowly and Calix frowned at me.
"You memorized that?" He asked in realisation so I nodded.
"It means that nobody deserves that," Calix said and I frowned slightly.
"Are you doing that thing again where you're lying and when I ask people about it they tell me that you were lying to me?" I asked him and he laughed before shaking his head.
"Maybe but it's better if you don't know," Calix said and I sunk into my seat. Why am I still surprised?
"You just need to wait a little longer and this will all be over," Calix said and I turned my head to watch him while he drove us home.
I wish he was always like this. Gentle and nice.
Gentle and nice? Really Nevaeh? Who are you kidding?👀
