Chapter 4

The double doors Burst open as Charlie runs in, face white with terror as he spots Bella sitting on a gurney, the E.R Doctor looking into her eyes with a pen light. On the next gurney over, Tyler, the van's driver, lies with a mild head wound. Mina Follows beside him as Amir walking behind taller than both of them. Charlie rushes up.

"Bells, are you alright?" Charlie asked. "Are you ok? did something hurt you?" Mina asked along with him.

"I'm fine, dad. Nothing hurt me. I'm ok, Mina. calmed down" Bella said looking up at them.

"I'm so sorry, Bella. I tried to stop" Tyler said. "It's okay, Tyler"

"It sure as hell is not okay" Charlie speaks up. "Dad, It's not his fault-"

"We nearly lost you" he said looking at her with his hands on her waist. "But you guys didn't" He hugs Bella glaring at Tyler.

"You can kiss your license goodbye" Amir sits beside Bella Looking over her making sure she ok. "I'm ok I swear" she said making Amir nod just checking on her. The doctor comes in.

"I heard the Chief's daughter was here" They look up as blonde doctor approaches with a kind face with a clipboard. "Isabella"

"Good, Dr. Cullen" Charlie said.

"I got this one, Jackie" Dr. Cullen said. The E.R. Doctor hands Dr. Cullen the Chart, and exits. Dr. Cullen reviews her chart, then feels the back of her head.

"You have a nice knot growing back there, but your x-rays show no indication of concussion"

"I'm so sorry, Bella" Charlie abruptly pulls the curtains between them making Amir laugh. Dr. Cullen look at him and nods before looking back at Bella.

"It would have been a lot worse if Edward hadn't knocked me out of the way" she said. "Edward? Your boy?" We all look at Dr. Cullen. Dr. Cullen quickly looks back at the chart.

"It was amazing he got to me so fast. He was nowhere near me" Dr. Cullen smiles. "As long as you're safe". He walks out the room. They exit the treatment area.

"I just have to sign some paperwork. You better call your mom" Charlie said. "You told her? She's probably freaking"
He shrugs and hurries off. Mina follows him. Bella and Amir hang back.

"Well at least you didn't got hurt that's what matters" he says making her smile. She pull out her phone was about to dial when she sees down the hall where Dr Cullen. Edward and a blonde girl is at. A short black haired girl is with them. "Is that Edward?"

"Yes, it is" Bella answered. "Who is the girl next to him?"

"That is Rosalie and the blacked hair girl is Alice" she said. He leaned against the wall behind Bella. When his eyes connect with golden eyes. His life change around. He knew exactly what she is to him. She is his mate. His everything. He will do anything to keep her safe. To be her future.

Rosalie is clearly furious at Edward who stands his ground. Dr. Cullen plays intermediary.

"This isn't just about you, it's about all of us-" -Dr. Cullen sees Bella and stops Rosalie from talking. "Let's take this in my office" She glares at Edward. Rosalie goes off with Dr. Cullen. Alice smiles at Amir. Her most beautiful smile before walking off with Dr. Cullen.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" Bella asked. Edwards nods walking to her. Amir was too distracted watching her walk off without even paying attention. He ends up listening last to what they saying.

"You're not going to let it go, are you?" Bella shakes her head, "No".

Edward shakes his head, "Then I hope you enjoy disappointment" He turns around and walks off. Charlie and Mina came back.
