Chapter 12

"I'm strong enough to kill you" Edward flings James backwards -- smashing through a freestanding mirror -- into the doorway. He scoops Bella up and leaps toward the balcony exit door -- when suddenly he and Bella are jerked downward. James yanks Edward violently onto the floor, Bella out of his arms.

James flings Edward up into the top window. Embedding him in the casement and bricks. Amir runs in just in time and shifted charging at James. Grabbing James fast with his jaw and flinging him away. He broke another mirror.

"Damn bear!" James growls charging at him, but Edward tackle James. James fling Edward away into another Mirror rushing to Bella. James crouches beside Bella. He grabs her hand, Looking directly at Edward with a sinister grin. he sinks his teeth into Bella's hand. She screams in agony.

Edward's rage erupts. he climbs out of the mirror and tackles James, savagely plowing him through the floorboards. Amir rushes to Bella side shifting. He grabs his briefs that is tied to his feet and put it on.

"Bella, its ok. I know it burns it must hurt" Amir said waiting for Jasper and Alice because they are parking the car. Bella moans and the sound of her pain slices through Edward. In an animalistic fury, Edward bites off a piece of James' flesh while having him against a pole.

Carlisle charge in now standing beside Edward, placing a hand on his son's shoulder. Edward turns to see his father. Emmett, Alice and Jasper, dropping down from the balcony. Alice comes besides Amir trying to calm Bella down.

"I'm here Bella" Alice said holding Bella arm. Amir looks seeing Edward backs off as his sibling's crouch into attack mode and lunge at James like a pack of animals. Carlisle rushes to the injured Bella who screams again in pain. Alice smells the blood on her hand, "Carlisle blood".

Carlisle's rushes and tell her to go. It almost looks like a tribal dance as they rip out the floorboards and build a fire. it's like a funeral pyre as Alice rip James's head apart. They rip him up, throwing limbs into the fire. Carlisle works fast to assess her wounds, focusing on a massive bleed from her leg. But clearly her hand hurts the most. She writhes in pain. Edward rushes over to them.

Carlisle applies pressure to the gash on her thigh. "Her femoral artery's been severed. She's losing too much blood -" "it's on fire!" Bella cut oof. "It's on fire! my hand!"

"Venom" Edward said.

"You have to make a choice. Either let the change happen-" "No!" Alice appears behind Edward.

"It's going to happen. I've seen it" Alice said.

" It doesn't have to be that way" Edward said.

"Alice, find me a tourniquet, a rag, a shirt" Carlisle said. Alice holds her nose and avoids the blood as she rips the sleeve off her blouse and kneels to aid Carlisle. "It's burning!" Bella yelled out in pain.

"What's the other choice? You said-" Carlisle cuts him off to talk to Alice, " Tighter, above the knee"

"Carlisle" Edward said.

"You can try to suck the venom out" Carlisle said.

"I -- won't be able to stop -" " Find the will to stop. But choose, she only has minutes left" Carlisle said cutting him off. Edward looks down at Bella, thrashing in pain. Finally, Edward takes her hand. She tries to pull it away.

"It's alright, Bella. I'll make it go away" Edward said. He looks at her - then starts to suck the venom from her hand. They never take their eyes off one another, the connection palpable, intense. He sucks harder. Hungrily. Anguished, he wants to stop but can't.

"Stop. Her blood is clean, you're killing her" Carlisle said, but the bloodlust is too strong. He is killing her. Bella looks at him, forgivingly, as she begins to lose consciousness.

Edward then let go and went away from her trying to control himself. Bella is unconscious. "We need to take her to the hospital and make up a story to tell them what happen" Amir said.

"Alright let's do that. And clean up the evidence here. Alice give Amir some clothes"

Amir been sitting beside Bella while she in the hospital bed. He feels bad that she have to go through this. If only he was paying attention then maybe he would have stop her.

"Don't blame yourself" Edward said.

"Huh" Amir said confused. "Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. You didn't know that James trick her"

"I know, but I should have notice that"

"Alice, should have notice that to, but that wasn't it. Sometimes visions don't work for her" Edward said looking at Bella.

"Thank you. I'm going to get a drink" he said standing up walking out the room. Alice walks up to him placing the bag down and hugs him tightly.

"Hi, are you ok?" Alice asked.

"Yea, just wanted to get a drink" he said. Alice lift up one of her hand showing a soda to him.

"You got that for me?" Alice rolls her eyes and said, "Who else?"

"Aye. There was no need for the sassiness, but thank you" he said grabbing it gently and taking a sip. Alice giggles.

"Emmett clothes was perfect for your size. I would have done Jasper, but the shirt would have been a little short" Alice gives him sweatpants and a white shirt.

"Thank you, I can change out of this clothes from what happened" he said.
She smiles at him.

"Bella didn't wake up yet?" Alice asked. "No, where is Jasper?"

"Jasper can't go to these hospitals remember. It be too much for him" Amir nods taking another sip of his drinking looking at Alice who is looking around the hospital.

It's now or never. Amir always wanted to do this to her. And he finally has the chance to do it to Alice. One of these days he wants to do it to Jasper to.

Alice looks at him raising her eyebrow, "what?" He smiles and leans down kissing her soft plum lips. Fitting perfectly along his lips. She was surprised at first then kisses him back just as passionately. Amir wrap one of his hands around her wait while his other hand hold his coke.

The only reason he pulls away from the kiss is when he needed to catch his breathe. Alice eyes are still close. Amir leans his forehead against hers smiling. Her beautiful golden eyes flutter open looking up into his eyes.

"Wow" Alice mumbles out. Amir nods, "Yea"

"Perhaps maybe we can do that more often now" Alice said making him smile more. "Of course wouldn't mind that" she smiles back at him.
