Chapter 8

It's been a couple days for Amir. Amir been spending some time with the pack. He even shifted and show his form to them. He was indeed bigger than the wolves. Bella been walking off with Jacob talking to him privately.

From the way they been acting together. It's like they together as a couple. Amir was confused at that matter. Amir is sitting down with Bella by the cliff just watching the waves. She didn't want Jacob to join them for some reason. Guess she just want to spend quality time with him only.

Turns out he was wrong when he saw her, she takes a last look at him then with a running leap flinging herself over the edge. Bella screaming with exhilaration as she plummets down, down... then splashes into the water.

"Bella! What the fuck she suicidal now!" Amir says in shock taking off his shirt and jeans and dove right into the water. He looks around for her in sea. Finding her by some rocks. Amir grabs him and drag her onto shore. Jacob saw him and helped her out the ocean.

"What happen!?"

"She jumps. She suicidal now. We were just hanging out by the cliff. I never thought she would jump!" Amir said still in shock. 

Jacob tries putting some air in her lungs by kissing her and pumping her chest. Bella barely conscious. "Breathe, Bella! C'mon!" Jacob hits her on the back. She spits up water, coming to.

"Bella? Can you hear me?" Amir asked.

"Amir...?" Bella mumbles out. She focuses, finally sees Jacob and Amir hovering over her, relieved. Behind him stands Sam.

"She'll be alright" Sam said. Sam looks out at the water, scanning it. Sensing something.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Jacob asked confused what was on her mind right now.

"I needed... to see... something" Bella said.

"What? The pearly gates? If we hadn't heard, you scream, and Amir didn't help you. You wouldn't-" "Get her home. I'm heading to the hospital. I'll meet you there" Sam cuts him off.  Jacob nods. Sam jogs off.

"Why would you jump? Didn't you notice it's like a hurricane out here?" Jacob asked.

" I know. It was stupid -- someone's hurt?" Bella asked. " Harry Clearwater had a heart attack"

"Oh my God - does my dad know?" Bella asked.

"He and my dad are both over there" Jacob said. "Will Harry be okay?"

"Harry died. Come on, I'll find you and Amir  something dry and drive you both home" As Jacob helps Bella up.

Amir brushing his fingers through his wet black hair. He is wearing the clothes that he was wearing. Jacob drives. Bella wears a fleece jacket but still shivers. He pulls her close, wrapping an arm around her.

They start talking. Amir was busy messing with his hair to care. The truck stop and they was still talking. Amir turn and look seeing them about to kiss. He roll his eyes getting out of the truck making a loud noise breaking them apart.

Bella blinks herself back to reality and pulls away. "Thanks for driving - for everything." Bella said as she pushes open her door. Wind wafts in -- Jacob reacts to a repugnant smell outside.  "Holy crap!" He abruptly pulls Bella back into the truck, slams her door shut and starts the truck. Amir turns around confused seeing them about to take off.

"There's a bloodsucker out there" Jacob said. "How do you know?"

" I can smell the stink. I'm getting you out of here" As Jacob whips the truck around, a black Mercedes is parked in front. Amir smells the scent and realizes who it is. He is mad. Bella spins to the rear window as Jacob floors it. "Stop! That's Carlisle car"

Amir see Bella cracks her door open while they're moving - he slams on the brakes. She jumps out " Damn it, Bella" Bella hurries up the road where Amir is  toward their house. Jacob's suddenly standing in front of her, furious.

"Stop. You got to come with me" Jacob said.

"It's okay. They're my friends" Bella said. "Don't you get it? If a Cullen is back here, this is their territory. The Treaty says we can only defend our own lands"

"It's not a war" Bella said.

" It is. And you'll only be safe in La Push. I can't protect you here anymore" Jacob said. "It's ok I don't need you too-"

"You're about to cross a line-" "Then don't draw one please" Bella said. She starts to walk inside. Jacob turns around pist off hitting the truck door close. Amir stays outside leaning against the wall outside. He didn't want to face her.

Amir takes a deep breathe in and walk inside to the kitchen hearing her voice, "I have never met anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy... "

"Did- did you tell him?" Bella asked.

"No. He only calls every once in a few months. He said he wants to be alone" Amir feels his heart soften at hearing her voice, but he can't bring himself to forgive her.

"Bella, what is that hideous wet dog smell?" Alice asked. "Uh that's probably me. It's Jacob"

"Jacob who?" Alice asked.

"Jacob kind of a werewolf" Bella said. "Bella werewolves are not good company to keep" Jacob steps in. Amir stays in the kitchen. He grabs a cup of water and drinks it.

"Speak for yourself. I had to see if you were safe" Jacob said. Amir raised an eyebrow at that and continue to drink his water.

"I thought you couldn't protect me here?" Bella asked. "Guess I don't care"

"Well, I'm not going to hurt her" Alice said. "No, you're just a harmless Cullen. I'm talking about the other blood sucker who tried to kill Bella because of you"

"Victoria?"

"Yea, Victoria's been around" Bella said.

"Well clearly she going to we killed her mate" Amir mumbles out. Alice notices him and stares at him. Amir dodges her looks.

"I didn't see her. I didn't see you get pulled out of the water either. I can't see you past your pack of mutts" Alice said glaring at Jacob. "Don't get me upset"

"Hey stop" Bella step up between them, " stop"

"I'll give you a minute" Alice said walking off. "Hey, you're not going anymore. You're going to come back right"

"As soon as you put the dog out" Alice said walking out. Amir follows her.
