As the snow is falling, the vampire, Jacob, Leah and Seth have set up camp in the woods. Jacob brings some wood and drops it on the ground, then Benjamin uses his powers to produce fire from his fingertips and throws it on the woods to start a fire. Alec and Jane join them.
"That's what I'm talkin' about. A little pre-battle bonfire. Telling war stories" Jacob sits next to Benjamin and Amir and looks across the fire and sees the other vampires standing.
"Or just standing there like frickin' statues" Jacob said. Amir laughs along with Seth. Amir is holding Seth hand while Leah stands behind Amir with her hands on his shoulder. Suddenly Garrett speed in and sits next to them by the fire.
"Name any American battle. I was there" Garrett said. "Little Bighorn"
"I came this close to biting Custer. But the Indians got him first" Garrett said. Just then Kate speeds in and sits next to Garrett.
"Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own" Kate said.
"lf you're talking battles, you're talking the Eleven Years' war. No one does rebellion like the lrish" Liam said sitting on the log.
"You lost the Eleven Years' war" Garrett said to Liam. "Aye. But it was one hell of a rebellion" Amir, Seth and Leah are now sitting around the campfire with the other vampires including Jacob.
"When we ruled, everything came to us. Prey, diplomats, favor seekers. Such was our power. But we never put on white hats and called ourselves saints" Valdimir said.
"We were honest about what we were" Stefan said.
"We sat still for a very long time. We didn't notice we were beginning to petrify" Vladimir said.
"Perhaps the Volturi did us a favor when they burned our castles"
"We've been waiting 1,500 years to return that favor. We have been ready to do battle for ages" Vladimir said just as Amir stands up. Walking off into the forest. Seth And Leah follow him as Alec and Jane stay at the campfire.
Amir looks out into the snow watching the wind blow some of it in the air beautifully. He leans against the tree thinking about the battle.
"What you thinking about?" Amir knew who is was by the voice.
"The battle, Seth. I don't want to die" Amir said a little scared.
"You won't die. We won't let that happen" Seth said.
"I know, but it still possible"
"Anything is possible. We will make it through" Leah said standing beside Seth.
"You're a father now. And Lazarus wouldn't want anything to happen to you. Or us" Leah said stepping closer to him.
"So, we will make sure you make it through with him" Seth said.
"By sacrificing yourself?"
"I'll do anything for you. I sign the papers when I agree to be your mate which means if it leads to that then-" Seth said.
"Don't say that" Leah said.
"But it's true"
"You're my brother. I don't want to lose you either, Seth. We already lost dad" Leah said getting sad.
"Ok, ok I won't say that anymore. Cheer up please" Seth said. Leah gives him small smile. Amir pulls her into a hug. Seth walks up to them and hug them like a group hug. This happen for a long time.
"Time for bed. We have a battle to deal with" Amir said holding their hands. Leah and Seth follow to the Campfire. Jane and Alec walk up to them.
"Everything ok?" Alec asked.
"Yes, everything is ok just had a little talk to Amir" Leah said.
"Alright, good"
"I'm heading to bed now. Are you guys joining?" Amir asked.
"Sure" Jane said smiling.
"How are we all suppose to fit in one tent?" Seth asked.
"It's possible" Leah said.
"We will end up squish. I'm not looking forward to that. And they are going to be cold" Seth said complaining.
"You're a heater along with Leah and Amir. You should be good" Alec said. They continue walking to the tent. When they arrive it's a 2 person tent. Amir notice how small it is.
"Damn, ok. It is small but we can try to fit. Alec lay down first" Amir said crawling inside. Alec lays down. Amir crawls and lays down with his back against Alec chest.
"Ok, who wants to be on Amir chest?' Alec asked.
"I call dibs" Seth said crawling in before anyone else can answer laying on top of Amir cuddling with them.
"Ok well that solves it. What about us?" Leah asked.
"Leah on the right and Jane on the left"
Leah went on the eight cuddling against them. Jane joins in. They are literally in a cuddling bubble together as a group. Amir is completely comfortable with it.
"This can work" Alec said.
"Yes it can" Amir said smiling cuddling into all of them.
"You're comfy" Seth mumbles out closing his eyes.
"Goodnight, I love you all" Amir mumbles out drifting asleep.
"Goodnight. We love you too" they all said their goodnight together.
