Chapter 6

Amir looks out the window seeing Edward leans against his car, looking up at Bella window with a small smile. She beams at the sight of him while Amir glares at him. Edward notice him in the window, but Amir close the curtains.

Bella is outside with the water sprays from a hose at her truck. Amir decided to just watch from afar. Making sure Bella is safe when Edward perches on top of the roof. "Can you act human. I got Neighbors" Amir knows now that Bella knew, but didn't bother to tell him.

Bella looks up, as he jumps down from the roof.

"I'm gonna take you to my place tomorrow" Edward said. He wipes down the dented front fender, then reaches under it and, with his bare hands, easily pops a large dent out of the truck's body. She's too flustered to register it.

"Thanks uh... wait with your family" Bella said. "Yea"

"What if they don't like me" She said causing him to laugh.

"You're worried, not because you'll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won't approve of you?"

"I'm glad I amuse you" Bella mumbles.

"Tell Amir to come to, Alice wanted him to come. I think he find out as well" he said looking up at Amir window. Amir closes the curtains.

Amir went downstairs seeing a note that Mina went to a interview from earlier this morning today and he goes to the front yard seeing that Jacob is here now, with his father, Billy, who's expression is intense. Anxious. Jacob sets up Billy's wheelchair and Billy climbs into it as.

Bella gave Amir a look saying we going to talk. He shrug it off.

"Come to visit your truck?" Bella asked.

"Looks good. You got that dent out" Jacob said. "Actually, we came to visit your flat screen. First Mariners game of the season. Plus Jacob here kept bugging me to see you again"

Jacob embarrassed a little, "Great, Dad. Thanks" Jacob shoots his father an irritated look, just as the police cruiser pulls up. Charlie and Mina climbs out the cruiser. Charlie holding two six-packs.

"Pale Ale" Charlie says walking up to Billy. Billy holds up a brown paper bag. "Harry Clearwater's homemade fish fry"

Charlie smiles, pleased. "Meet Mina and Amir. Mina my girlfriend and Amir is her son"

"Nice to finally meet you. Charlie won't shut up about you" Billy said smiling at her. She laughs. "Nice to meet you too, Billy" Amir nods at Billy. Billy smiles at him.

"Man, your tall" making Amir laugh.

"Yea, I hear that a lot"

"Any luck with the Waylon case?" Billy asked Charlie.

"Found a footprint out at the crime scene today. A bare, human footprint. Billy seems disturbed but not surprised"

"Geez, someone did that to him?" Mina asked as Charlie nods.

"A person did that?" Bella asked.

"A crazy person, walking around barefoot this time of year." Jacob said. Who ever it is coming near and Amir knows it is probably one of the vampires.

"Spread the word out at the rez, will ya? Keep the kids out of the woods" Charlie said helping Billy inside the house. "Will do, Don't want no one else getting hurt"

Bella looks away from Billy, unnerved. Amir walks inside to make himself a 2 sandwhiches and walk upstairs to his room. He eats the sandwhich and open the certains wanting to sunlight in the room. Amir turn on his tv watching any show that is on.

Later that night, Amir heard to door knocking. "Come in" Bella walks in closing the door.

"You knew?" She asked. He nods.

"Yea, when were you going to tell me?" He asked her.

"I- you would have probably think I was crazy"

"Not really. I'm smart enough to figure out things faster then some" He said standing up from sitting on the window seat. Bella sits down on his bed.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Bella asked. He shrugs reversing the question.

"Why didn't you told me? Same reason"

"Well at least I know another human knows. You can't tell anyone" she said.

"I won't. Just be careful around them though one of them is my mate" he mumbles out causing her to lift her head and look at him.

"Mate, as in soulmate?" Bella asked.

"Yes, um..I'm sorry you have to figure this out about me now, but it's about time. I'm a bear shifter. A rare one. I seemed to be the only one of my kind since my dad left. I have soulmates which is my other half. I spend enternity with" he comes out clean.

"Wow..thank you for telling me. About the Cullens they are vegetarian. They drink from animals not humans though there is other vampires out there who do" Bella saids.

"I'll keep that in mind. Don't tell anyone about me. I don't want to cause a commotion with the Cullens and yea.." He mumbles out.

"Alright, I will keep it a secret. I'm actually happy you are meeting them with me rather then alone" she says smiling at him.

"Same as well. Kind of nervous because they might find out who I am and I'm going to have to tell them not to tell anyone" he said looking out the window.

"I'm sure they won't as long as you don't tell theirs. I'll see you at dinner time" she said standing up walking to the door. "Bella wait"

She stops and turn around in the doorway. "Edward better be nice to you or else I'll kill him myself" she laughs.

"He is. Don't have to worry about that" she said walking out the door closing it.
Amir smiles looking out into the forest. He's not going to tell his mom about the Cullens or wolves. He going to keep that to himself and Bella. Amir doesn't want her to be scared to him to be out in the forest alone or worried about anything.
