Amir got dress for the day after making breakfast to the family. He walks outside to water the garden. Bella comes outside, "Want to come with me? I'm confronting them"
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Bella?"
Amir said turning off the water hose. Walking inside with her.
"No, but I'm still going" she said making Amir roll his eyes.
"Ok, I'll come but please don't do anything stupid"
"I won't" Bella said walking off and Amir follows wearing blue jeans and a black shirt with his Leather jacket.

Bella parks the truck and climbs out. Amir follows her. The moon eerily illuminates the clearing. Forest noises encroach. She hears a rustle amid the trees. She sees Sam Uley, Paul, Embry and Jared in the clearing, as well, half-clothed, movements almost synchronized. Their expressions simultaneously alter into fury when they see Bella. Bella push Sam. Amir right behind Bella protectively.
"What did you do? what did you do to him?" Bella said pissed off.
"Easy" Sam said. "He didn't want this"
"What did we do? what did he do? What did he tell you?" Paul said angrily. "Both of you calm down" Sam put his hand on his chest backing him up.
"Nothing, he tells me nothing because he scared of you" Bella said. Paul and Embry laugh and Bella slap Paul.
"Shit, Bella what the hell. I said not to do anything stupid" Amir said pulling Bella behind him.
"Too late now" Embry said as Paul starts shaking angrily. "Bella get back, Paul calm down now" Sam trying to calm him down but
Paul falls forward, but halfway to the ground there's a loud ripping noise and Paul explodes in silver-gray fur, becoming a massive wolf crouched and ready to spring. Bella, horrified, grabs Amir arm. Amir steps back with Bella growling deeply from within him.
"Bella!" Jacob runs and jumps over them diving headfirst into the air - with another sharp tearing sound, shreds of cloth blast into the air, fur bursts from Jacob's skin - he lands on the ground a giant brown wolf, charging the Paul-wolf. Bella reels as the two wolves crash into each other, snarling and ramming into one another. The sound is deafening. Their teeth flash at each other's throats. Amir calms down watching them.
The fight carries the two wolves beyond the clearing crashing into the boat and going into the woods as they fight deeper and deeper into the darkness... until they disappear. The horrible sounds of the fight still echo back to the clearing. Sam starts after them, kicking off his shoes. "Hey, take Bella and Amir back to Emily's place" Sam disappears leaving an eerie quiet.
"Guess the wolf's out of the bag" Embry said.

Bella's truck, driven by Embry, pulls up to a tiny, weathered house with a window box full of marigolds. Amir in the back of the truck with Jared. "I think we should go back and see if Jacobs ok" Bella said. Jared jumps down with Amir.
"Hope Paul sinks some teeth in, serves some right" Jared said. "No way. Jake's a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I gotta fiver says Paul doesn't touch him"
Embry and Jared head toward the house. She doesn't move. Amir waits for Bella. "Come on in. We won't bite" Embry said. "Speak for yourself" Bella warily climbs out of the car, joins them.
Embry pauses at the door. "Oh, hey, about Emily - Sam's fiancé. Don't stare, It bugs Sam"
"Why would I stare?" Bella asked.
"Perhaps, there is a reason why he doesn't like it" Amir said. Jared and Embry enter the house. Bella hesitantly but enters behind Jared and Embry. Amir follows. Jared and Embry grab a Muffin before sitting at the table.
"You guys hungry? Like I have to ask" Emily said giggling. Bella understands why Sam doesn't like the staring. Amir smiles at Emily. She smiles back. Looks toward them now revealing the other side of her face, A scar runs from hairline to chin, three red lines that pull down her eye and twist her mouth.
"Who's this?" Emily said. "Bella Swan, Who else?"
"So, you're the vampire girl" Emily said smiling. "So, you're the wolf girl"
"I guess so, well I'm engaged to one" Emily says slapping one of the boy's hands. " Save some for your brothers and ladies first, Muffin?"
"Sure thanks" Bella mumbles out grabbing a Muffin. Amir grabs one next.
"You must be Amir, Charlie girlfriend son" Emily said looking at Amir. "Yes, that is me"
"You're really tall" Emily said. Amir take a bite of his muffin.
"I'm 6'7" He answered nodding taking another bite. "Taller than Sam, He's 6,6. You beat him by one"
"Another beast, he seems to have a lot of muscles to" Embry said.
"What are you? Checking him out now" Jared said making Embry push him.
"Leave it up to Jacob to get around Sam's gag order" Emily said. "Um he didn't say anything to me"
"That's a wolf thing. Alpha's orders get obeyed whether we want to or not, oh and check it out we can hear each other thoughts" Embry said biting his muffin "Would you shut up, these are traid secrets. Dammit, this chick runs with Vampire"
Amir laughs. "Can't really run with vampires cause their fast" Bella said.
"Yea? We are faster. Freaked out yet?" Jared said. Bella shakes her head. "You're not the first monsters I met"
"By the way, Amir your scent. It doesn't smell exactly human, but I know you're not a vampire. What are you?" Jared asked.
"If you don't get aggressive or anything like that. I'm a bear shifter" Amir said crossing his hands.
"Really? A bear shifter? We haven't heard of those before. Are you bigger than wolves?" Embry asked.
"I'm sure I am, my fur is black" Amir said. "That's awesome. I'm sure we wouldn't mind you around since you not a blood sucker"
"That's for a fact, we just have to tell Sam and them" Embry said finishing his muffin.
"Jake's right. You are good with the weird" Sam said walking to Emily giving her a kiss and smothering her face in kisses making her giggle.
Bella has to look away. Their utter devotion is a painful reminder of what she has lost. Fortunately, she's distracted by Jacob and Paul's arrival. They laugh and jab one another. Bella is relieved to find Jacob unscathed. "Sorry" Paul said to Bella grabbing a muffin.
"Let's talk" Bella said walking outside with Jake.
"We read Embry thoughts and it involves bears. What was it?" Sam asked.
"That Amir is actually a bear shifter" Jared said.
"A bear shifter? Never heard of them" Paul said biting his Muffin. "Dope, we can finally see one"
"Really? No wonder why you smell a little bit like human and the other half not. You are not like those Rabid loners, are you?" Sam asked looking at Amir.
"No, I'm not, I shift just like you guys but I don't become angry then shift" Amir said.
"That's good" Embry said "Can Amir be on our land, Sam?"
"As long as you don't cause any issues, you can. You are not like those leeches" Sam said calmly. Amir smile and nods.
"Thank you"
"No problem, just know we have a treaty with those blood suckers. They not allowed on this land" Paul said. "Alright I'll keep that in mind"
