Baby Daddy!

After this surprise I need some time alone to think. This baby was coming weather I was ready or not.

Jayceon sat in the livingroom playing his game. I didn't have the guts to tell him. I think is was mostly that I didn't know how to tell him.

I sat up in the bed and looked down at my tummy. I was showing I had a round shape it was just so small I thought I was just getting fat. If I paid any attention I would have knew.

"Jayceon come here bae and bring me a bottle of water." I picked up my prenatal vitamins on my way home from CVS. They were out of the gummy ones so I settled on the pill the pharmacist told me about. They smelled like vanilla.

"Naw I'm playing the game bring yo ass in here!"

He always had to be so stubborn. I hope our baby dont have that trait. I got up and looked in the mirror. My eyes were puffy and red. I cried the entire way home from the store. I quickly shut that shit up when I got to the drive way I didn't want Jayceon to think anything was wrong when I walked in the door. I didn't plan on telling him today but I got to because I need him by my side to tell my grandparents. Their opinions are the most important.

"Why you can't be a nice lil baby daddy and do what I say?" I threw a hint out I guess he didn't catch it because he continued to play GTA. I went in the kitchen and got me a bottle of water out the refrigerator. I sat down on the couch next to him and opened my water and popped a pill in my mouth.

"What the fuck you taking?"

"A vitamin."

"For what?" He put his controller down and looked over at me. I watched his eyes look at the pill bottle then back at me.

"Baby daddy say something?" I said jokingly trying to get a response from him. Anything. He was quiet as he continued to look back and forth.

"This ah joke?" He looked over at me with so much excitement in his voice. I started crying and shook my head no.

"It's true bae your going to be a father."
He pulled me close to him and peck me on my lips.

"You told ya grandparents yet?"

"No I wanted you to know first so you could be by my side when I tell them. I'm so far along bae it's crazy we got less than 5 months to get shit together for our shorty. I got an emergency ultrasound tomorrow afternoon I want you to be there and because I'm much further along we gone find out the gender and everything tomorrow."

He just looked at me with the biggest smile on his face. That made my heart melt. He was going to be a wonderful father.

"I already know our princess gone be good. I seriously been notice you gain weight but I didn't say shit. Like today when you kept changing yo shirt I saw yo belly and it was all round. I just knew some shit was up. Plus you haven't been taking no birth control." I realized he was right I been bullshitting and we been just pulling out instead of using protection.

"Boy gone talking about princess how you know its not a boy? And let's go to dinner since we couldn't do lunch."

"Iight let me throw on some clothes and I just know that's daddy lil lady inside there."He kissed my stomach and went to put on some clothes. Today was his off day and I wanted to enjoy it.
